Fiverr just charged me 2 bucks for a 10 dollar gig. I just looked at their forum and it seems they only pay the service provider 80%.
So they add 20% to me and take 20% from the seller, is that right?

Good work if you can get it, right?

40% commissions can cover a hefty electric bill.

Almost. As a seller you get to keep 80%, this is the case from the get go. The buyer fee differs by the purchase amount and was raised more than once. At the moment the buyer fee is $2 on purchases up to $40 and 5% above $40. Some of it goes to PayPal.

It is good to be Fiverr. Wow.

At this point Fiverr is a website for the fucking ordinary and the term should be banned from BHW like d0follow is (********)

In all seriousness though, why don't you do a rudimentary Google search and check the seller/buyer fees for it?

Why don't half the posters on BHW do rudimentary or advanced searches on Google to find the answers to their questions? We may genuinely never know
