Hello everyone. Thank you for checking out my thread. My intention is to implement my first SEO campaign. I have been reading up on here and several other places for several hours a day for several months and figured I need to go ahead and try my hand at what I have learnt. This thread will be my motivation to continue to try. I have a site I purchased a few weeks ago. It is a local hobby/enthusiast niche but I am also going to try and focus on some nonlocal KW's. My goal is to try to rank the website on the first page in the next month or two. I am not positive of monthly search volume (keyword planner says medium comp with a few hundred monthly searches for most the KWs I'll be targeting) but there is definitely more volume than it tells me. Content: Well, I'm poor and this website probably will not make me money. So, I have been manually spinning articles than running them through plagiarism detector (bootleg copyscapes) until it no longer can detect where I got it from.. Getting my ranking to stick would be nice, but right now I just wanna see if I can run it up to a nice ranking and check how long it lasts. If I get penalized, I'll try to learn from it. Tools: None besides free web applications. I will probably purchase SB and GSA after building when it gets time to start building my links (hopefully within the next week). Game plan.. Step 1: Get website (check) Step 2: Put content on website (current stage) Step 3: Build tier 1 links Step 4: Build some tier 2 Step 5: Blast t2 Step 6: Rank???
