Few months ago I started my second MNS. The first one is still ranking #1 because of some 15$ link-pyramid service. I was very glad with this while it made me some money. Offcourse I wanted more so I figured I learn to rank sites on my own. So after a few weeks of placing content and letting it rest I started with building link tiers with GSA SER just by following some tutorials of youtube of a reputable SEO man. Now after 2,5 months it is still not ranking and I guess I fked it up, however it does popup sometimes around #190.

The content is original en on-page is good. I guess I have to thank my ignorance on SEO. I thought it was not very difficult, I still think this, but I know you need the right techniques. My idea is still to learn building links which will help my ranking so I want to redo this new MNS. So I will move the content to a new domain and to give it a shot. But where to start Anno 2014 after the new penguin updates? What first steps do I need to undertake to realise a #1 ranking for a low-mid competition.

I think it won't bring up a huge amount of money so I don't want to use a lot of money.

Please help me :)

First off, don't transfer the site to a new domain. A new domain will only waste all the effort you've put into ranking the site and you will have to begin the waiting period afresh. There's an exception though.

If the site has been penalised (and you are sure), you are better off moving it to a new domain. Otherwise, keep your present domain. It's probably sandboxed and sandboxed sites eventually leave the sandbox after a few months (mine was 6 months).

What you should do now is introduce other types of links into your link profile and don't focus on tiered links only. Link diversity is important, as well as anchor text diversity. Build some high PR links to your site and add a touch of social signals.

That said, if you are really intent on starting on a new domain, by all means do. Or better still, keep working on this one and create a new site targeting another keyword. Then use whatever new link building strategies you learn on the new site.

Thank you for your support. I don't think the domain is penalized but it may be filtered somehow because the anchor text diversity is very poor. The domain has been registered on February 20th so I guess it should be out of the sandbox. I will follow ur advice to start with building high pr links and some social signals and see what the results will be.

I do it like this on GSA:

Web 2.0 - Main Keyword
Social Bookmarks - Variations of Main Keyword
Article Directory - Variations of Main Keyword, and naked URL
Blog Comments - generic, real or fake names, and naked URL
Forum Profiles - generic, and naked URL

Always do them separate as-well.

What would be the best way to build some high pr links to my site?
I think about manually submitting two unique articles to some high pr article directories. Would this be a good way or what else should I do?

Thank you.
