First shopify store

Doing it rn, and I meant to say that my site have so much mistakes not your post... I think I wrote it a bit complicated... I just want things to be clear.

Don't worry I understood exactly what you meant

I wouldn't order a single item on that thing. It's nowhere near that I would trust that shop.
Baby items would sell with emotions, you shop is ugly af. Make it way more compelling.
Larger images, better product descriptions.

Also we had great success with discounted prices, people go nuts when the see strike through prices.
I wish I would supervise emotional niche shops, but we do building materials that's a lot harder.

check out the apps section usually a good stuff in there that can help you get started! just beware if the trial days run out you need to pay for the app! good luck

edit: there are free apps also! they're dope

My advice, domain name should be very close to your main / best keyword!

Why is there an advertisement on your store? That just tells me that you're an unworthy store because you have to make money advertising something besides your store. I would never buy anything here.

Slow down there buddy. I currently run many very successful ecom stores, and your statement can't be any more wrong. At the beginning, you don't need anything more than the free themes. The free themes from Shopify do well on their own, the main thing stopping someone from being successful is their product and marketing.

Definitely don't do that. You lose more money than you make because people don't trust you. Imagine if Amazon redirected it's customers to Walmart. It makes no sense.

I saw your store, honestly it''s horrible, just like my first store hahaha but just keep on learning and pushing, at the end It will be worth it.
Anyway, look at other successful stores in your niche or a very successful store in general.
Try not to copy but to get "inspired" by them.
I'm a beginner too and I made many mistakes and one of these just like Billy said to you, and to me some time ago it''s that you should try to prioritise your "above the fold" section, it has to say CLEARLY AND IMMEDIATELY what your store is selling, why it should be the best for the newparents.
As someone already said, since your niche is related to something really important and emotional use the right colors, write emotional content make the clients feel unconditional love when they see your store, just like when they look at their baby.
OK, now I have to say to you something really important, I HOPE that you have some money to invest in this because starting dropshipping, just like any business needs some investments, unless you can find a way to do the marketing and promotion without any money, and I mean a way that can really make your sales skyrocket, if u don't have or you don't want to spend nothing...prepare for a very very long journey of perseverance, build and grow a fb page,a IG page, a twitter page everything!
Remember that if you continue to learn, test, hustle and work hard and smart you will reach the top.

My suggestion, hired someone to make you a website..so you can focus on your sales.

Actually, I have to disagree.

I was running FB ads for a product, and when I changed the main background color of my site and logo the conversion rate dropped about 30-40%, just because of that. Marketing and products are of course very important, but so is the design. Having a black background instead of white can be a huge difference, for example.

Free themes work (Venture is good IMO), but you should probably customize it a bit in CSS/HTML. Removing "Powered by Shopify" is easy.

OP: Your site is way too thin and empty. How much content do you have on the whole site, 200 words and 3 products? Billy Batts guide is good, start from there.

Store is good, but what about traffic?
