First Four-Figure Day!

:::BIG TIP FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE USING CB AND MAKING SALES, BUT WANT TO GET INTO EMAILING:::

If you're making sales, then you have a list. ;)

Go into the "Reporting" tab, and click the "Transactions" subtab.

If you scroll to the bottom and look in the bottom left, you'll see this:

"Export options: CSV"

Now the "CSV" is linked, so click that. Export your sales for the past year (that's as far back as Clickbank lets you go). Then open up the file you just exported to your computer. It's got names and email addresses in it.

You've got yourself a little buyers list right there. :)

Subscribers: about 37K
Sales: 26 (biz-opp products)

It was all Clickbank stuff as well. :D
I congratulate you on your success, but that coversion percentage is very poor (.07%).

Where are you getting your leads from?

My internet marketing list has 2280 subscribers, and I email them twice a week and make my weeks pay right there. Now, I'm not making 4 figures a day, but my conversion percentages are much higher.

I have 3 lists over 2000 people, and I send each list two emails every week.

The first mailer goes out on Monday and is strictly content. Maybe a free ebook, MRR product, video/audio, etc.

The second mailer goes out at 6pm on Thursday evening.

Here are my stats for last week (Thursday's email).

Internet Marketing List:

Sent - 2293
Opened - 561 (25%)
Conversions - 11 (2%)

Revenue - $306.90

Anxiety/Panic Attacks/Child Anxiety List

Sent - 1127
Opened - 153 (13.6%)
Conversions - 4 (2.6%)

Revenue - $176.00

Weight Loss/Healthy Eating

Sent - 1872
Opened - 316 (16.9%)
Conversions - 8 (2.5%)

Revenue - $232

Total Revenue - $714.90

Now, it's not four figures a day, but it's been gradually increasing.

These leads are mostly all targeted leads from article marketing and PPC.

I started list building 6 months ago.

My point is that it's taken me 6 months to get to a point where I'm making enough from my lists to just get by, but as time goes on, it will increase.

I feel it is better to build targeted leads. As you can see, my open stats and conversions are well above average.

I also have a very low unsubscribe rate.

I feel if I can keep this up, in another year and a half I should be making at least $2500-$3000 per week from my lists alone.

But props to you. you've done an awesome job and I can't wait until I am making that kind of money.

Out of curiosity, where did the majority of your leads come from?

I just had my first four-figure day today.

I've been scaling up my email marketing, and today, for the first time, I made more in a day than I used to make in a week at my old job.

Day's final tally: $1,008.52

It used to take me a week to make $799.92, and that is even decent money.

Let this serve as motivation to all the newbs that read this: We all start out somewhere. Whatever you do, don't quit. One of the mods on here has a signature that says:

"Nobody fails at Internet marketing ... they just quit before success happens."

It's true. If what you're doing doesn't end up working for you, then try something else, but don't give up, because you can get it if you just keep trying!

Set goals and scale up!

thanks for mentioning that i have that written on my Computer Table

Export your sales for the past year
Lol, i've just started for 3 months, not many sales. I mean, for a starter of email marketing, what are the requirements?

cjmo, conversion rate is measured by sales over HOPS, not sales over sends.

I had 1,526 opens. I sent 743 hops. 26 sales over 743 hops is a 3.5% conversion percentage.

Most of the people I talk to in the biz-opp niche have a similarly small opens-to-sends ratio. However, a good email copy will convert the opens to hops pretty well (mine was almost 50% hops-to-opens).

I just decided to keep pushing through the sends-to-opens ratio obstacle.

congrats im planning on emailing clickbank products and host gator reselling, but as im school i dont have time to build a list so what is clickbanks policy on spam and how can they detect it?

thanks

I understand that. What do you mean by "sent hops"? You mean, clicks on your hoplink?

The point I was making was for a list of 30,000 plus, 1500 or so opens is rather low I think (about 5% - whereas the industry standard is 15%-20%).

However, it seems to be working well for you, so congratualtions and good luck for continued success.

Yeah, and it's been my experience that the biz-opp niche does seem to trend on the low side in terms of opens. I spent two years working for a big name in the niche, and all our JV partners, save one or two, experienced the same.

Throughout email marketing as a whole, though, you're right. It is a low number.

Oh, and yes, hops = clicks. Sorry for the CB-specific lingo. ;)

4 figure profit or revenue? also, is it likely that you will go 4 figures again?

sweet job man.

curious as to how in the hell someone can gather 37,000 emails that fast!?!? holypoop

mapguy, email marketing through whitehat, whitelisted autoresponders requires very little overhead, even at 37K subscribers. Thus, we're talking almost pure profit here.

Also, it is indeed likely that I may do it again. Granted, it will not be a completely regular thing, as a normal day is $300 - $400. However, that number itself is up from a couple months ago, so as I continue to climb, I'm expecting more days like that more frequently.

Really curious to know, do you prefer one autoresponder system over another, i heard OP say he used Get Response, wondering why? is it better than aweber/icontact?, price or other things that you desire.

Also to cmjo75 i am wanting to really push my list up. What is a good number of articles to purchase or do you spin them all yourself. I don;t have a clue how many i should be doing per day to get the type of numbers you guys are getting in 6mths. I was thinking about doing video marketing with it but am not sure, or PPV/PPC.. anyway thanks for the cool tips!!!:)

congrats man. I am also in the biz opp niche and haven't touched 4 figures in a day yet. Got very close though $907.80 like 2 weeks back.

I will get you this time my 4 figure day :D

congratulations , threads like this prove that everyone can make it happen. Just put in enough work and effort and you will succeed eventually.

Now this is motivating . Time to get my bottom in motion and get some work done !

congrats on that , the money is in the list!!! as frank kern says

Just had four-figure day #2!
