I just had my first four-figure day today.

I've been scaling up my email marketing, and today, for the first time, I made more in a day than I used to make in a week at my old job.

Day's final tally: $1,008.52

It used to take me a week to make $799.92, and that is even decent money.

Let this serve as motivation to all the newbs that read this: We all start out somewhere. Whatever you do, don't quit. One of the mods on here has a signature that says:

"Nobody fails at Internet marketing ... they just quit before success happens."

It's true. If what you're doing doesn't end up working for you, then try something else, but don't give up, because you can get it if you just keep trying!

Set goals and scale up!

Congrats, man. I know all these people like to talk about making their first dollars or whatever online and yeah, I agree that's cool but I think the first time I made in a day what used to take me a couple of weeks to make is really when my head started to spin. It's exciting as hell, isn't it? Addicting too! Keep it up!

I never reached 4 figures yet. My highest day was about $680...Congrats...

callmelucid, it has taken about two years.

gonzo, same with me. My first sale, while exciting, isn't even something I remember. From the beginning, I had my eyes set on bigger things. I remember posting a thread about my first thousand-dollar week, and someone on there told me to keep scaling, because he said if I could make it in a week, I could make it in a day.

Turns out, he was right!

Cody, keep working! My highest day before today was $702, right around your high day. Just keep at it!

madhatter$: Get after it!

How many sales out of how many subscribers? Just want an estimate of what to expect.. Thank you.

Subscribers: about 37K
Sales: 26 (biz-opp products)

It was all Clickbank stuff as well. :D

Dude, nice work... stay consistent and keep making things happen!

Targeted...it's all about the targeted. If you want to make a basketball shot, you're going to significantly increase your chances by just being on the basketball court!

So many people just randomly spam the crap out of whatever they can get their hands on and don't take the time to plan it out like a military strategy.

Keep up the good work, soldiers!

Very true. It's all about targeted leads. They came at a cost, as did my mailing strategy.

Totally worth it.

Congrats OTrap... If it would be great of it's possible for ya to post a current working email marketing method for BHW members.. I mean everyone would be doing the EM is their own way but as your found the working CHIP which could lead to success of all EM newbies here on BHW like me :D

90% of what I do is common knowledge, and it's white hat. It just takes work and a lot of tweaking and testing.

I remember seeing days where, despite a 24K list, I was making under $100.

It's all about figuring out what works.

So are the 37k subscribers all in the same niche? How long did it take to get that many suscribers?

Regarding your tweaking and testing.
Did you have to test a lot of lead magnets? Did you test email copy, subject, LP's, products, which one took the most tweaking in other words?

Did you just link to the CB sales page or did you have a page in between?

CONGRATS:D

The leads are all indeed in the same niche (biz-opp). It took about 6 months to gather the leads (for which I used GetResponse).

I only had a couple lead sources before this one. Split tested message feel, time of day, frequency of days, from address, promoted page style, etc. In other words, there wasn't much I DIDN'T test. The email timing and frequency was the most difficult.

I linked straight to the CB product page, after an email which presells.
