First Facebook Ads Result

Hello guys,

I have just started my very first facebook ads on fishing for dropshipping.
2 adsets of total 10 usd budget.
Result after 1st day: 590 Reach- 1.08 Frequency
638 Impressions-$16.54 CPM (cost per 1,000 impressions)
Link clicks 8- $1.32CPC (cost per link click)

I got total 5 likes on 2 adsets and 2 new likes on page. I found all of them with fishing activity.

I also narrowed audiences down to purchase behaviour

Please suggest me if it is alright?

Unfortunately, a $10 budget is not always enough to tell whether an ad will perform well or not. Remember, the goal of your first round of ads is to collect information for retargetting. At this phase, the only way to tell if the adset is working or not is by comparing it against others that you've created.

$10 is hardly enough to get any significant data. I'd say minimum, have at least $2.5k to play with (and potentially lose) before you start playing with paid ads.

Last month I probably spend over 100k+ for one of my brands close to a half Mil only on FB ads, I be honest with you $10 on FB in 2019-2020 is the equivalent of 1 cent the ones u find on the street & u step on... the fishing niche is already being dominated by the big guy bro. Think more outside the box (Cat, dogs, fishing, couples, & so on every basic niche you could possible imagine is already being dominated don’t even waste time on those niches.

.... i know that was kinda cold & not exactly what u wanted to hear, but here let me share with you some i niches i know are not being saturated & u might have some luck (if you think outside the box)

-Vegan
-Millenials
-Spiritual (NOT YOGA)
-New born
-Pregnancy
-Coconut (oils)

If you need more ideas just go on Etsy & search for 2019 best sellers, your brain is gonna hurt when you see the type of products people are searching / buying / selling these days.

Can you tell what about the survival, tactical, camping, hunting, military niche? what I know that this are good niches. What is your suggestion ?

It's only right if you're making profit on it.

OP I hope u are paying per click and not CPM because $16 CPM is very high. But your CPC over $1 isn't low either. With this CPC of $1.32 100 clicks will cost u $132. And u should aim for a realistic conversion rate of 1%. Which means 1 conversion in 100 clicks. Now how much do your products cost? Also with a $10 daily budget and a cpc of $1.32 u will be get around 8 clicks per day. So realistically speaking it will take u 13 days to get one conversions. (Unless ur conversion rate is over 1%)

You need a bigger budget if you want to play this game OP.

how long it took you to come up with those niches? U probably didn’t even have to think right? Those niches are also saturated af. Go on Etsy & make a list of 5-10 niches you never even thought before. Obviously I’m not saying you have to come up with a new niche or invent a new product but all I’m trying to say is that there are some weird lol niches out there making serious numbers.

i know this one guy selling Vegan Based Dogs Socks & he literally added the word VEGAN to all his products!! I couldn’t believe when I saw there are people actually buying VEGAN products & actually believe the products are Vegan -_- I also know this other guy selling Energy rechargeable solar rings & he narrowed down those rings pretty much into every niche out there. (Go on Amazon & look it up his margins are insane) One last example is this lady on Etsy & Amazon selling hand grip strengthener & she also narrowedw down that product into every other niche out there, construction worker hand grip, Plummer hand grip, electrician hand grip & so on.

If you can’t an get ideas on Etsy, go on aliexprsss & on the searching bar type VIP > enter
