First day as a new BHW member. Hello everyone

Hey guys (and gals),

I just joined the forum and am looking forward to getting to know some of you and learning from you. For years now I have come to BHW for knowledge and to learn from posts and threads, but have regrettably never registered for an account. Well, here I am. I'm based in the United States. Enjoy eating, riding dirt bikes, playing xbox, and traveling the world via images on Google Images and Google Earth. haha.

Have experience in seo, some ppc, wordpress, local seo, and social media marketing. I'm definitely know as knowledgeable as most of you people on this forum, but feel like I have a good set of legs under me so far. I attend seo meetups and clubs in the local state I live in, and have attended some national conferences like Pubcon in Vegas. I attended Pubcon in November of 2011. Anyways, I'm glad I'm on the forum.

Hello, lalit burma, thanks for the welcome gif. Hmm, good question as to what my most successful online assignment has been so far. I have done seo work on a company named Solar Winds as well as Dell computers. I helped guide their Austin, Texas team to improve website structure and content site wide to improve organic seo. Turned out to be a very successful consulting gig and worked out great for Dell as well.

Question: Does using the "search bar" find topics and threads better that doing site searches in Google? I have found much of the site content to be available cached and crawled and available in Google search. What are the advantages of using the internal site search function?
