Day 7 Major Update:
I decided to delete a bad short that wasn't doing good, I took a look at it again, it ruins the flow of the current shorts
and remembering the last positive trigger I had, when I deleted a bad video everything went up in engagement. I decided to do the same thing,
rinse and repeat.
Two positive triggers that worked and two things I did again:
1. Looked at the shorts again, to ensure quality and no half ass job was done. Deleted one short, it was the worst one and lowest views.
2. I seen how good progress was with 1 short a day so I did it one more time posting 1 short today including deleting a bad short, so two things that worked I combined.
Tomorrow I will do 4-5 shorts a day again for the next 4 days like before to see what happens
Additional Updates:
3. I updated the tags, descriptions, title optimization to make sure the keyword blends with what the video is about.
4. I made a playlist to organize my shorts. From a blog I was reading, it mentioned having a playlist, YouTube will understand more on what your videos are about.
New Updates:
It turns out today was the best performing day, majority of videos are now hitting thousands range and first 3.5k views hit on a single short.
Likes, comments, views, subs all have went up.
Two notes that are important moving forward:
1. Having a bad quality short (half ass job) lowers visibility on ALL the shorts (confirmed with the second attempt)
2. Naturally posting compared to automated posting 4-5 a day for example, could be something to look into and see if videos go down in engagement.
(I will post pictures when I see updated analytics since time zone difference, I have to wait for YouTube to update the page)
