Firefox is making me mad

I mean this program is freezing every few minutes, I get a freze screen for 10 seconds when browsing normal sites.

I cant figure it out why? I have a beast of machine, core 7 6 gb still get freezing all the time.

What to do, anybody have same problem with latest firefox? I disabled all addons and still nothing helps

You upgraded to the latest FF version.

Go back in time and un-upgrade.

The same thing happened to me when I upgraded.

I actually have this also, only started about 2/3 weeks ago. No idea why. Weird! I have an alienware m11x, so no problems either in terms of hardware..

I was gonna uninstall FF and downgrade, to see if that helped, but Im just too damn lazy!
 
Eitherway no way im going to chrome again, that shit sucks i mean it even cant open certain pages for no reason, and no, no fix for that
 
I use chrome & firefox, Shit happens with firefox, especially with the Plugin-Container thing, I hate firefox but I'm not leaving it
 
Firefox made me mad when they started trying to make it look like IE.
 
i have the latest version on a windows vista machine with tons of addons and it works perfectly. there has to be something on your machines that is causing it, firefox isn't a noob software with big faults like that.
 
FF is shit of shits, but unfortunatelly theres nothing better. Hint - delete your cache, history, cookies, everything, firefox will have less things to "think about" and will work better maybe. I do that from time to time and it helps.
 
Every time they update the plugins go crazy. Trying uninstalling the plugins and see if that helps. I use them all IE, Opera, Chrome, Safari and Firefox and find that the plugins of Firefox is both its greatest strength and weakness.
 
LOL this just happend to me today..I have to shake the mouse to make it go faster..thought I had a virus..
 
Yes I agree Firefox 5.0 and higher is the cause of the problems. Upgrade isn't always the best choice
 
I love mine. Why don't you just switch to Google Chrome until an update comes out? I run Chrome on 1 machine and FF on my other.
 
I upgraded when it first came out and a lot of my plugins stopped working, so I went back a version, and I've stayed there...
 
its not the machine. its ff sadly. i have the same issue on 4 different machines. t1, dsl, and satellite connections. revert back to ff 3.x until things speed up is all i can advise

Honestly FF is a memory leaking piece of crap..... If it was not for all the very nice seo addons I would not use it at all. Those addons are the only thing that makes it worth using.
 
i was thinking to downgrade to 3.6 , because the 4 is vulnerable

can you imagine, i uninstalled nod32 because of ff crap, I hate it, it makes my browsing unbearable

i think i will downgrade to 3,6 and never upgrade again
 
It usually happens to me every few minutes first few hours after I turn my PC but yesterday it was crazy whole day.
 
Yup same shit happened to me! I have not had it happen lately though. I think I upgraded FF adn it stopped or slowed down at least. I was thinking that it was my SEO plugin. If this keeps up I will have to switch to Chrome :p
