Chrome also does this if you run one account on incognito. :) Just fyi

Yepp, FF is running slow here too. Still I am having to use it because Chrome is a Spyware for sure.
 
Ooops I disabled Firebug and it's super-fast again! :P Disable all panels if you have it enabled!
 
If you use FF like a donkey loading it up for day after day...

It is best to give it break now and again, re boot and clean all the temp files et al.

Chrome is becoming a pain for me recently, Iron Browser is cool. Its Chrome without Google jiggery pokery

Maleware scan. MALEware scan. It's good. It's very good. It's subtle and funny.

So unless you're referring to shear porn, malware is the word you're looking for.
 
I like FF personally. I used to run Safari (I use a Mac dual screen and Ubuntu single) all the time but in Mountain Lion it's gotten so buggy. I hope Apple can get it fixed and updated soon because on it's best day Safari on a Mac owned all other browsers in my house.

If your worried about Chrome "spyware" then try Chromium on Linux. It's a fork of Chrome that doesn't have all that "create a Google account" rubbish on it. It's what i use on my Ubuntu screen and it rocks!
 
Sometimes FF crash through Flash or Java, so watch out these 2 problems.
 
I don't know what browser you guys are using. FF runs fine for me. It starts up and runs faster than chrome and IE. To be fair I have no addons installed though.

I should also note that I use FF Alpha: Aurora 23.0a2.
 
For those of you guys that need a ''fork'' of Firefox , use palemoon browser. Based on some engine , but with same things different.

I have allways problems with FF while streaming YT video's and a few other tabs open like news sites etc. Takes over 300K memory.

So if you like Ff use Palemoon browser.
 
everytime i log off of facebook on FF my computer freezes like 2-3 mins
 
Never had any bad experience with Chrome. I use to browse on ff a year ago but in my opinion it is slower than chrome anyday.
 
i will never use chrome as standard. google knows anyhow to much .. why to feed them with even more data.
 
I run Firefox with 5 addons:

Tab Mix Plus
Download Helper
Last Pass
No Script
AdBlock Plus

No extra bars at all, and it still crashes and hangs like crazy, as soon as Chrome gets a good script blocking addon like NoScript i'm switching permanently. Firefox is a heavy weight now.
