Hey Everyone, I run own an agency and I am wondering if there is something I am missing. I've done direct sales, networking events, cold calling, etc. but haven't gotten to breach the past 2 clients. My whole intention was to scale this business and I get it takes time but I feel like there is something that I am missing in terms of bringing in the most revenue possible. My work ethic was stellar and I'd do all-nighters for research consistently. Is there any advice anyone could give me? or words of encouragement? not looking for pity or anything. I'm genuinely putting in the work but wondering if I am placing energy into the wrong places. If the information i've given isn't enough id happily share more details in a pm im not sure exactly how much i can share in this thread.

Hello! What Agency is it and what services are you offering?

Hey 1Wolf,

Are you trying to do the SEO work and get clients at the same time?

If you are, you have to choose one or the other. I prefer to outsource the SEO work as it takes more time and I can do the selling.

If you want 20+ methods on how to get clients, you can visit my thread here https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/h...nt-ways-10-slots-for-v1.1475775/post-16131479

What kind of things are you currently doing to get clients?

If you're looking to attract customers for your new web design service, my first advice would be to focus on building an amazing portfolio that showcases your best work. Your portfolio is essentially your calling card and a representation of the quality of work that you can offer. So, make sure to curate a selection of your best projects that demonstrate your skills and capabilities.

You can also consider offering highly discounted or even free services to your family, friends, neighbours or anyone you know who trusts you. By doing this, you can start to build your network and gain exposure for your agency. Word-of-mouth is a powerful marketing tool, and if your early clients are happy with your work, they may refer you to others who need web design services.

Similarly, for SEO services, you can consider reaching out to businesses you know or deal with on daily bases and offer them discounted SEO services to demonstrate your expertise in the field. Once you have some real clients you can then reach out to other businesses with real case studies of businesses and offer to improve their search engine rankings, you can build trust and credibility with case studies.

If you are just starting out with your digital agency, it is important to keep in mind that it may be difficult to rank high on search engines and compete with other established digital agencies. However, this doesn't mean that you should abandon your SEO efforts altogether. Focus on optimizing your website for long-term success by investing in SEO and Google My Business (GMB) listing optimization. Once you start to see some positive results from your SEO efforts, you can use your own website as a case study to demonstrate your expertise to potential clients. By showcasing your own success in SEO, you can build trust and credibility with potential clients and attract more business to your agency over time.

As the owner of a digital agency, I can understand that starting a digital agency can be a challenging endeavour. However, it's important to stay focused and persistent in your efforts. As you begin to gain some clients, you may start to see a snowball effect, where more people become aware of your work and begin to seek out your services. So, don't get discouraged if things don't take off right away. With patience and persistence, you can build a successful web design agency and establish a strong presence in your industry.

Furthermore, feel free to reach out to me if you need any advice or support. I will be happy to share my experiences and provide any guidance that I can. Good luck!

I got a client who is in your exact space. Her agency bill $30-50K a month :) and it's literally copy and paste solution and the crazy part is her gross profit is 70%. I wish I could share some screenshots of her revenue dashboard for your motivation but the world is very small....so I'll leave that to your imagination.

I would suggest you to spread out or go "Omnichannel" with the information about your brand and services on different websites in IM niche. There are marketplaces where you can start providing services, starting with BHW marketplace. Think about it :)
