Finding Clients

Hey guys.
I am a link builder. I manually build backlinks for the past 2 years in an agency I quit to become freelance. Now I really don't know where to sell the products I have. Can you guys help me to find new clients as a starting pitch? I am not spamming or something. I really don't know where or how to start.

become a Jr.VIP and create a thread in the marketplace then sell your services.

You can get clients on this forum. Advertise in the marketplace section.

The 2 years in the agency did you not learn anything then?

Not trying to beat you up - but you had 2 years commercial experience you left to go freelancing not knowing where or how to get clients and now your stuck?

Should you have left? You should have stayed there, watched and learn't that business, freelance in the evenings and slowly set your self up before leaving.



So... start like any freelancer does. Find out networking events locally, get business cards made, get your website made and go to events and network. When not networking get your site set up so you are no.1 for local search within a 50mile radius (more if you have a car or less if public transport is crap where you are) for what ever service you are offering "SEO or Link Profile Audit or whatever in towns" and go from there.

Just a reality check freelancing unless your head is super screwed on and you have things in place you got a long mountain to climb and 12+ months minimum of not so regular work..

some freelancing websites like freelancer, fiverr

I would agree that freelance work platforms are a good way to sell your product, same as forums. You could also try fb groups and networks.
