Hi,

I wanted to ask you how do you find photos to use? So that there would be no consuquences later on, like someone sueing you for using their photos without permission?

You can get free ones from Google Images as well without an issue using this method;

1)Go to Google
2)Type in your KW
3)Click on images
4)Click on the drop down menu for usage rights and take your pick.

I knew this google trick, but usually the photos are either from youtube, or wikipedia and it's very low quality.

You can use Wikimedia Commons. Another option is Flickr, but you have to be careful to only use photos labeled Creative Commons.

Mine is set up differently to this, i got to google images - type in kw and use the cog in the top right hand side - then advanced search and click usage rights drop down then free to use, share or modify, even commercially

Why not to use your own ones ? + searching with the legally step on google
you can also search on google about the website which gave free photos for personal/non personal use

As said above, Google with filters, pixabay or stock images.

Also depending on volume and requirement, you can also search all images in Google or social media, and then request permission to use the images. That works for me.

Thank you very much guys! Nice info here.

But you can find a lot of free low risk/no risk images this way. And if you have photoshop or some free graphics software, then you can tweak 'em up and make those diamonds in the rough SHINE!

Like stated about run a filter with your search. I also like to download others I find, put them into photoshop and add my own twist so that it becomes your own.

Select your filters in google to only search for the desired quality and tweak them a bit in an editor.

You can use canva to design your own photos, i personally use pixlr and Some other tools to design simple photos

https://search.creativecommons.org/
for searching images around different websites licensed under creative commons.

http://imagecodr.org/
great for generating html code with attribution for any CC image from flickr.
