Dreamweaver works well. Why I would use it over any others? Because you can put multiple documents in the same local site and have it find&replace each phrase in all the documents at once instead of doing each one manually.

Seems like the only time I use DW anymore is for this...

MS Office is great for this and then copy and paste all text in to NotePad to break all of the MS code and have only text. This is a pretty simple way and if it is code DreamWeaver is also really fast too. Just hold Control F select find and replace = Done.

    Hope it helps you@!

Your very welcome and you can also use the "Thanks" feature too, that really would not make me angry at all.

I use InfoRapid Search & Replace as it alows me to perform find and replace extremely quickly and across multiple files, including check in subdirectories. Brilliant for making a change across all html/php files for a website for instance.

Also allow you to search and replace exact matches as well as just about any operator. Will also allow multiple directories to be selected.

Best free program I have without doubt, even though I don't use it that often.
