Good Luck but how are you going to analyze the competition any specific metrics??That's what I'm working on lately, I'm building a tool that scrapes keywords with high volume and low competition. Apparently there's no tool which does such a job.

I believe you are able to check for some YT stats on google trends since they've retired YT's native keyword tool.
Also use some common sense, if keyword has some consistent new videos flow and plenty of views and maybe some medium/big players on that certain keyword it almost definitely means this niche might be worth your time.
It's not as hard to analyse youtube traffic manually since the data is transparent unlike the one in the search engines where you can only guess the number of people's hits very approximately unless it's your own website.
