Finally going to do something - Twitter journey

Still trying ...

Got everything automated and running. Waiting to see if anything gets banned.
Still trying to figure out what/how to promote.

Followers: 1411

Overall 'project' follow % is 6.49

Account follow % is between 3.17% and 13.14%

Will mess around with profile pics, themes etc. and see if that makes any difference to %

Expect to hit follow limits soon and will consider buying followers for each account - any recs as to where to buy them from?

Also, been running a scraper on one separate account every 16 mins - api rate limits to 15 per 15 minutes - it scrapes 3000 ish each run.

Got over 780,000 'target' scraped.

Unfortunately not many. Over the last three days I've scaled the following right back after the 'SMS wave' thingy so I've only gained around 25 followers per day over the 12 accounts.

That's shite, I know.

My follow back % is around 6% - so for every 100 people I follow I'll get 6 to follow me back. So, if I follow 400 per day then I'm hoping to get 24 followers - over 12 accounts that should be around 280 per day - that would bring about 8,000 per month. Again, shite I know but I'm not promoting anything yet. When I do I'll get more accounts - already got 20 waiting but don't want to 'waste' them until I know I'm doing all I can to not get banned etc. With 32 accounts and a 6% follow back I could be looking at 23k per month.

To sum it up, at 6% each account should be getting around 720 new followers per month ... so 100 accs = 72k per month.

If anyone has any tips on how to improve the follow back % then I'm all ears ...

I'm working on more 'randomization' at the moment ... spintax in tweets, randomly deciding whether to include accounts in the follow loop and a few other ideas

I'm not tweeting any images at all so far, just plain text that I've scraped from wherever - most tweets get liked or fav'd or retweeted but still not much follow back.
I try to filter out bots (as best I can) when I load my 'raw follow targets' into my follower database ... maybe I'll revisit that.

It can only/maybe/probably be because the majority of accounts I'm scraping are also shite.

After reading a post by @DesignCamp in the Twitter forum I've decided to change how I scrape.
From now on I'll only see them as potential targets if:

They don't have a defaut profile
They don't have a default profile image

They MUST have a bio (filter out the cam girl, dating shit)
They MUST have tweeted in the last 7 days
They MUST have a follower/following ratio of 25% or less

Onwards.

Make sure to find good accounts to take the followers from. I have found that following those from the biggest accounts in my niche are shit and not following back, while the ones in the 10k accounts are less spammy and more likely to follow back. I also had a low follow-back ratio of only 10% and now it's around 60%. Let the 10k accounts do the filtering and hard work for you and take a piece of the cake Good luck OP.

I'd overlooked that, thanks. I'll incorporate that too.

Just messing around with the million accs I've already scraped I've found over 1,200 accs with around 10k followers (even more with between 7.5k and 15k) with a ratio of under 15% so maybe they'll be more productive.

All I need to do now is to find a niche .... then find an offer to put it front of them
