BEGIN REPORT

today Fiverr sales: $215

END REPORT

(kidding, will write a normal report later)

UPDATE:

LinkedIn:
My colleague is still sick, so no one is running bots. Sent each template around 800 times of planned 1600. Will probably extend sending to Saturday.

Also, because in 3 of 4 orders I've got to date neither coupon nor inbuilt discount was used AND because 3 of 4 buyers ordered the top package, I am going to test one more idea this week.

Enter template "E:

e) Basic template. No bonus, no time limit, no discount, nada.

This is crazy idea but I have a feeling that it might perform even better than ANY of templates tested before.

ALSO my checkout page sucks big time. I get way too many drop-offs. Tomorrow colleague developer will be investigating how to change/fix it.

Fiverr:
Already mentioned $215 in sales today ($220 by now) and dozen new leads. That's what I call a GIG LAUNCH.
Lead handling, however, is not automated yet.
Tomorrow will be creating one more account and writing instructions for assistants to handle orders on existing ones.

Upwork:
My assistant is finding suitable jobs for me (and there are quite many). But I had zero time to write those buyers. So no results from there.

In general:
due to lack of time ignored many non-critical (in terms of time) leads. Some are waiting 1+ week already but cannot do anything, putting out 14h+ workdays. Just need to scale shit a bit, then it will get easier

UPDATE:

FIVERR:

Fiverr is blowing up. Currently 18 sales in que. Because I have only a couple gigs on each account (unique gig creation takes time), I am risking to stuff the que. After you reach 15 orders for 1 gig in que on lvl 1, Fiverr delists your gig from search results.

Two options what I can do:
a) work faster (not up to me really as work is mostly done by assistants)
b) create more gigs to spread orders between them.

I will probably go with the second option. However, it will require lots of work today as every new gig increases the complexity of the whole system (additional communication templates, service customization due to gig variability etc)

Actually, there's one more option, which is wait for lvl 2, which would increase que length until delisting. This would take 13 days on one account and around 15 more orders on another. Just I am afraid that the que will be stuffed faster than that.

Upwork:
Nothing really new except old leads writing and asking me to provide them with my awesome service. Will try to handle everything today. It's Saturday, so I am kind of free of my brick and mortar business' tasks.

LinkedIn:

As of today around 2800 messages sent of 6400 planned for this week. A little behind the plan bc of colleague's sickness. Got two new introductory service sales, one from AdWords, another from LinkedIn.

LinkedIn campaigns:

a) Basic + bonus code 716 sent, 83 clicks, 3 conversions , CTR 11,5%, conversion 3,6%
b) Basic + bonus code on request: 635 sent, 73 clicks, 3 conversions, CTR 11,4%, conversion 4%
c) Basic + limited time "service launch" promotion: 736 sent, 89 clicks, 3 conversions, CTR 12%, conversion 3,4%
d) Basic + limited time "celebrating X happy customers" promotion: 722 sent, 52 clicks, 2 conversion, CTR 7,2%, conversion 3,8%

Total 5 sales, revenue $105. The event for tracking hard conversions (sales) was missing in the beginning and broken now, so I cannot track which templates resulted in sales. What I can track, however, is during this week there was 11 soft conversions and 5 hard ones. Data may be scewed a bit bc GA also shows 6 soft conversions from previous week but I cannot really count them because time on site is 3x longer than usual, so I guess someone was testing conversion tracking following these links. Anyway, even 5 /11 = 45% soft/hard conversion ratio is bad. Before I already remove "cart" step from checkout process. Now I am going to remove checkout page completely and direct users to paypal right after they click "buy" button.

Template "e" campaign will be started from the next week as it was not wise to start it before weekends.

JOKE OF THE DAY: one client from Fiverr has received my promotional message on LinkedIn and ordered the service AGAIN for 4x of the price on fiverr. That's fucking crazy! I was prepared to things like this, so I have enough infrastructure to provide the service.

Total revenue from new services this week: $400 (I know the week is not over yet)

Certainly could make 2x this amount if spent more time on everything. Sadly, I have other businesses I should take care of, can't devote all attention to developing LinkedIn sales funnels.

Potential possibility:
Because many of my clients from LinkedIn are either business owners or high-tier managers, I will try cross-selling them my new Pinterest services. Because right now I see on Upwork that there's a big demand towards services I develop.

My Fiverr gig que is stuffed, which lead to gigs disappearing from search haha. Glad I have many accounts so selling never stops :)

SHITSTORM!!!

10 LinkedIn accounts banned (of 50)
Don't know the reason but it's pretty bad bc they were used for both sending messages and providing linkedin services.

Now I have an outstanding order que I cannot handle.

Next time no sending messages from "service" accs. Lesson learned.

Damage assessment and analysis:

1. 10 accounts banned. Fortunately, they were backed up, so I can continue reaching leads through other channels. Just it will not be as effective bc I am not their "connection" anymore.

2. Services I offer through Fiverr, Upwork and own platforms are temporarily impaired. Also, even though I am going to create substitute accounts, explaining everything to clients will take time. Streamlined communication now turned into mess. Of course, I should have been sending spammy messages from other accounts but for some reason I didn't take into account that my services will be so heavily impaired by account banning.

3. Initially I was planning to promote services, which are against linkedin ToS, via e-mail to 1st degree connections. When I was testing e-mail, the campaign went into spam and I switched to sending messages inside linkedin. Later I realized that the most likely reason of spamboxing was whois protection on domain.

NEXT STEPS:

1. Order more proxies and make 60 additional accs. Use 50 for services and 50 for sending msgs
2. Try the following approach: instead of sending messages to the connections acquired a few days ago, put promotional message into autoresponder and send it immediately upon connecting. Btw, I will have LinkedIn autoresponder finished by Tuesday.
3. Remove all discounts and bonus codes from message body, try to make it looking as non-spammy as possible

Additional (not urgent) steps:

1. (may be) Try sending e-mails to former 1st degree connections. Not sure if this will work
2. Try sending e-mails to current 1st degree connections
3. Put former connections into remarketing audience on facebook

Increasing robustness of the whole system:
1. Hire cheap trainable VA and make a big stock of accounts
2. Never mix messaging and service accounts
3. Create "shitstorm case" instructions for everyone to follow

SUNDAY:

- Created 15 new accounts
- Profiled
- Added connections

Had no time to protect pictures from reverse image search.
Also had no time to wait until they get a 500+ connections.
All because I am approaching deadlines on a few orders. (currently total 27 deals in pipe)

Thanks to SquidProxies (http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...uaranteed-working-exclusive-bhw-discount.html) who changed and topped up proxies for me on Saturday evening.
Also thanks to some Indian guy who cared to sell aged accounts on Saturday night (in his timezone).

Tomorrow one guy will start creating additional 50 accounts for me. Also need to investigate a potential possibility of filling bio with iMacros. This possibly could speed up things a bit.

Revenue for Sunday: $0 (haha)

UPDATE:

To not lose "service" type accounts anymore, decided to create 50 additional accs for messaging. This will take around one week, may be less.

As long as I wait for new accs to be finished, I will be focusing on the following:
1. Stabilize Fiverr operation, complete instructions for VAs, decrease the number of mistakes they make
2. Get 5-10 new clients from Upwork, each paying at least $200 per month. Train VA's to service those clients. For now I will only communicate with them personally
3. Promote LinkedIn services through other channels (mainly paid advertising including remarketing)
4. Promote LinkedIn affiliate offers to leads from banned accounts via e-mail
5. Create follow-up process for Fiverr leads

Also, today I have changed checkout process on a website offering linkedin services. I hope new process will decrease the number of checkout drop-offs significantly.

UPDATE:

I have troubleshooted why my accounts got banned. Because of a glitch in LinkedIn dominator, I sent multiple similar messages to the same people. Guess what happened?

2 weeks result (11.03 - 24.03)

Fiverr
75 sales
avg. sale price $6.6 ($5.3 after fiverr commissions)
expected revenue per month $795 after commissions

(I removed some untypical big-shot orders to avoid data skewing)

Introductory services website #1
13 sales in 2 weeks
avg. sale price 21.75 (20.50 after PayPal commissions)
expected revenue per month $533 after commissions

Operational costs not counted (Introductory services website #1 relies partially on LinkedIn messaging, which requires costly accounts)

Conclusion:
Fiverr requires much more effort. Perhaps doing it without later upsell of other services is meaningless.

Action plan:
* Stop spending time on Fiverr development until I setup a proper upselling funnel
* Continue handling Fiverr orders

Glad to see you updating this , are you still runing adwords ads ?

Yup

I have managed to get 3,5% CTR and 25% conversion rate in my "low hanging fruit" search ppc campaign.
Cost / conversion is somewhere around $2,5-3,0 now
Average revenue per conversion is around $20.

HOWEVER there is not much traffic from this campaign, so today I also re-launched previously unsuccessful display advertising campaign. Changed ad copy and landing, waiting for approval now.

Also, I am testing 30% OFF vs 50% off landings for the search ppc campaign. I have a feeling that 30% off would convert no worse than 50% off but yield more profit.

Additionally, there's a little under 100 people in my remarketing audience already, just need to setup a remarketing campaign because my experience shows that this can increase overall conversions by 50-100% while increasing costs insignificantly.

p.s. conversion rate 25% is based on one week results after implementing latest changes. So this indicator might be skewed

Update:

Tomorrow starting new type of LinkedIn campaign. It will be different from everything I ran previously because autoresponder will be used for sending messages. This must look 500% less spammy and I expect the same increase in results compared to previous campaigns.

March financials:

around $1000 in profit from Fiverr
around $525 in profit from Upwork
around $289 in profit from LinkedIn services sales on my landings

April plan:
$3600 from these streams. (not sure whether in the same proportion as in March or not)

I have some state-of-the-art software for LinkedIn ready including one of its kind Linkedin autoresponder. For the next two weeks I will be testing it on my own accounts before offering to wider audience. I expect it to increase engagement (positive actions taken after receiving my messages) by at least 50%. Today had seen for the first time how it works. It is run on Linux server but you can "spy" on what it does as if it was a human sittings behind a computer with a GoPro camera attached to the head. It is truly AMAZING. Full human behavior simulation. I have never seen such bots for social media before. So fucking PSYCHED to see it in some real action.

By the way, did you guys know that you can find AWESOME VAs from Russia for just 2,5-3,0 EUR / hour? Not some shitty VA who doesn't understand anything but a cool guy or girl who "just gets it", is responsible and can even find better ways than you offered to accomplish what your ordered. This continues blowing my mind.

haven't started this yet :(
Today everything was ready but it's a bad idea to start Linkedin campaign on Friday evening. So launching on Sunday.

I fell behind schedule this week mostly because had meetings all the time, did monthly and quarterly accounting routines. Next week will be more productive in terms of internet marketing i hope.

http://www.myopportunity.com/ this could be a nice supplement to LinkedIn marketing. Basic idea: invite your connections from LinkedIn to Opportunity. Shall your linkedin acc get banned, message the shit out of your leads in Opportunity.

Investigating that social network now, I guess like any new social network, they lack security mechanisms.

I like multiloginapp, but I can have up to 9 accounts opened on firefox with multifox free of charge, if you are running 100 accounts, multiloginapp makes sense, if you are a newby as me... multifox works just fine

Good luck not losing your accounts, buddy. Multifox uses THE SAME PROXY for all sessions. So your 9 accounts are accessed from the same IP at the same time. What service are you accessing with Multifox? I am pretty sure it's not Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest nor Instagram. Otherwise you would know what's happening when you access 9 accs from the same IP.

Not talking about other fingerprints and leaks that are present in standard browser builds. Take a look at this comparison table.

Linkedin accounts I create initially cost at the very least $10 per account. After I grow them to a few thousands connections, build some reputation and network with people using them as avatars, their price rises significantly. It is VERY PAINFUL to loose such accounts. You need to lose some to understand that paying a few bucks for account management software is NOTHING compared to the cost of losing such accounts. As a creator of MultiLoginApp I invested thousands dollars into account management software because
a) Losing accounts costs a freaking lot
b) Losing time while switching between accounts costs an arm and a leg

If your accounts don't cost shit, then of course you can afford losing them. But usually in business when you invest peanuts, you earn peanuts.

Because
1. Fiverr went better than I expected in March ($1000 from a couple NEW accounts in just one month)
2. I spend almost zero time on it (everything is done by my assistant except creation of new gigs)
3. My team has improved technical side of services I provide there

I decided to create a few additional PREMIUM gigs. These gigs will be priced 2-4x more expensive that regular ones and have appropriate branding. I have two options to kickstart them:
a) Review exchange or fake reviews (almost zero investment but information about what I do spreads a little bit more each time I order fakes)
b) Offer old clients to buy new advanced service. This seems very lucrative but would require improving and widening infrastructure, which would cost me $500-1000.
c) Offer clients who write into my inbox to order advanced service. This is zero investment, perfectly secure but will take longer time to kickstart new gigs.

So I don't even know. Time versus money versus security. What would you choose?
