Just curious if anyone knows a formula or good way to calculate the value of an instagram account. I have several in various niches ranging from 10k-50k and don't know what to price them at.

Also, does anyone know a good marketplace?

There is no better marketplace than BHW ...check other people thread's look at their niches ,at their followers and at what price they are selling the accounts !

I once read that it mostly is between 8 and 12$ per thousand real followers. However this might change depending on how high your engagment is

It depends on the niche and on the engagement, not on the followers. I have a friend with 150K Instagram account, he has very good engagement and an e-commerce website linked to it making $700 net profit every month, just from Instagram. He recently sold the website and the account for $14,000.

Something if worth so much how much highest buyer is willing to pay. I have sold accounts for $8/per 1k and $30/per k. It really depends. But standart is $10 per 1k as mentioned above.
