FF Imacros Loading Issue?

ok for certain websites such as myyearbook and tagged imacros seems to think the page has not loaded when in reality it has, this has happend a few times in the past for various different sites even when i run imacros on diff computers same happens, even with error ignor on the imacros toolbar just gets suck with a red bar and wont continue with the tasks ahead due to it thinking page has not loaded? unless i refresh has anyone actually figured out a fix for this yet? i did use grease monkey script with a page refresh on it along side imacros and worked like a charm but this is no good when it comes to captchas as the captchas refresh to! i have searched high and low and found various complaints about this in certain forums ect but nobody seems to have figured out a fix for this. if anyone has any ideas id greatly appreciate it as of now the scripting edition is abit to expensive for me lol

Why not just use chrome? Work perfectly fine for me.

does imacros for chrome have tab support? i did try to use ie instead but you cannot open tabs on it using imacros

chrome you can clear cookies using imacros

I have the same problem occasionally, especially when the page uses ajax. The loading of the ajax doesn't seem to trigger the next action in a tiny minority of situations. If it's a real issue then I suggest you post on the imacros forum, they're pretty responsive and you can actually get answers back from the dev team.

I use ff portable, older ff version and no problems at all. I script it with js when I need to accomplish something complex and this app speeds up porting the code: http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/imacros-codegen

Disabling pics if you don't need captcha or something gfx related greatly helps and imacros 7 adds unique and helpful features compared to the 6.9 ver posted on the forums that you might or might not need.

ok after alot of frustration and headache ive figured it out the only way to fix this is getting yourself a portable browser "firefox 3.5" and imacros 6.215 just to run ajax sites and ive got to say not one single error all day with tagged or myyearbook defo recommend as firefox 3.5 is a hell of alot faster to ive got a gaming laptop and still noticed the diff

So it was changing to FF3.5 that solved the problem? What version were you using previously? Are you using the latest version of imacros with it?

well tbh it has not solved my problem because imacros 6.215 dont support proxies i dont think ergh!

and no i was using version 6.215 as imacros v7 has the same problem even with firefox 3.5 think ive found a solution and thats to use it along side the proxy addon here which changes proxys on new tabs only
