So I've been active on this forum for 2 months and was lurking well before that. I've finished university and already had a passive income well into the 6 figures but with an eCommerce venture. Didn't know a whole lot about SEO. Since university all I've been doing is trying to diversify my income and get into Affiliates/Adsense. I managed to get my eCommerce site ranking a lot better with some SEO packages. So I thought I'd try this method elsewhere but for whatever reason 1 + 1 doesn't always = 2 in the SEO world.
I'm going to talk about a few of my endeavors and how they aren't going as well as I'd like. If anyone could spare some time to add their thoughts that would be great.
Reddit Endeavor
I have 4 subreddits now.
My idea here was to use the subs to promote my eCommerce site and Affiliate market. Reddit spam had been extremely successful for driving traffic to my site but mods removing my comments and locking posts had become an issue. With my own subreddit I could control the narrative and delete competitors comments. It was often competitors who blew my cover.
The only issue I've had is trying to rank these posts consistently.
On my No. 1 fresh sub I created a lengthy post, added hundreds of comments and upvotes. Then bought a bunch of spam backlinks from Fiverr that increased the UR to like 90. Surprisingly it actually worked and that post is ranking well in serps for reddit keywords. All it took was a few days to rank. I thought I had the secret formula then. I tried this on my No. 2 subreddit that is active. Now my subreddit won't even show up in serps so I think google has punished it for spammy backlinks. The sub and posts are indexed but they won't show in serps or rank for anything in Ahrefs. They only show up in google if I use site:url. If I search for my other fresh subs in reddit with the term "r/sub reddit" then they show up as 1st result. I even tried an $1800 package from Sarker SEO on one particular post to try rank it. Did literally nothing, I thought this would work as his packages worked well for my eCommerce site.
I now know that I shouldn't send a bunch of backlinks straight away. No. 3 and No. 4 are quite fresh. I'm not sure on how to proceed with getting the posts I want ranked without google punishing me.
I sent one high quality backlink to one post with the longtail keyword I want to rank then sent a bunch of to that as 2nd tier. Hasn't taken effect.
Does google have a sandbox for new subs?
No. 1 is only 2 months old, has 1 post with thousands of spammy backlinks and ranks great. No. 2 sub is around 1 month old. Has posts with spammy backlinks and some with good backlinks. I remember my post in the first sub ranking in a matter of days.
If anyone has any experience on ranking reddit posts then please share with me. It will make me rich. I will send you so much money.

I have created two niche websites. My first one has 12 hand written posts targeting long tail 0 difficulty keywords. It's a couple months old and has 112 backlinks from quite an expensive package I bought here. All the backlinks have anchor text that are my exact longtail keywords I want to rank for though. Is this offpage seo "too perfect" that it is suspicious to google?
I have read around that new websites are in the "sandbox" but others say this is nonsense and they can rank straight away with a new website. The website currently ranks for one article in the top 100 for 3 keywords but this was before I bought backlinks. Google wouldn't punish me for 112 backlinks that are a bit too perfect, surely?
Where to go from here?
