Fb know my location even i use private proxy ?

I use a private proxy to log on on my fb account, but why fb show me my real location ?

Clear cookies/cache/flash cookies.

Use Firefox Private Window or Chrome Incognito.

Install Better Privacy plugin which deletes flash cookies automatically.
 
Yes i have all of that, better privacy is configured that each time i close firefox it clear all cookies/cache/flash so i don't understand

But i login with a desktop computer, there is no gps on it
 
Try using a VPN instead of a proxy. There are several ways for a server to know you are behind a proxy and it's apparent FB is using one of those methods.
 
But vpn is not private, 1 ip can be used by many people at the same time
 
If you are using an open proxy, they can easily tell where you from by getting your real IP address using simple php super global vars like:

HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR]
[HTTP_X_FORWARDED_HOST]
[HTTP_X_FORWARDED_SERVER]

and there are many more.
 
How i cn know if my proxie are open proxy ?
 
i delete all my flash cookies using the plugin better privacy each time i close the browser
 
i think you are missing this
"Use this proxy server for all protocol"
you have to select this option :)
 
Are you running ccleaner? Make sure to change the setting to clear micro media cookies aka flash cookies, if your using Firefox you should use a plugin called "click & clean" so all you have to do to clear all data is close your browser and it will run ccleaner on exist automatically.

Also sometimes Facebook check you keyboard input and apply that as a geoloc, read that somewhere...
 
we can have an azerty keyboard but be anywhere, a keyboard input don't give you your location ...
