FB ID's or fb emails for a custom audience?

Greetings and hello,

I've been trying to upload a list I transformed from ID's to mails but not sure it works. Is the method still around? I read all sorts of contradictional posts and I'm overwhelmed. If working, are there any spec requirements? Should it be a txt or csv?

Is not valid. For custom audience you need real email, not facebook one.

ID's wont work as well do they? : /
