FB group reach is fn dead. Posting links or links in comments doesn't get much of any traffic (even when the article is related to the group). I've talked to about a dozen admins about it, and they say they get messages all the time from other members asking why nobody sees or comments on their post. (even when it's not a direct link) Admins are saying veteran members are leaving groups in droves.

Ehm, no it isn't. My groups are doing just fine.

Maybe you got shadow banned or strikes on your group.

Same for me, but depends on the group. Sometimes it goes viral and has many likes and comments, and with other groups is like i didn't even post.

What strategy do you follow? (if you don't mind saying)

I was growing organically. Chose an intuitive group name and people searched for it. Had some big pages post in it, which made their fans join my group. Also I shared posts from my group to other groups with similar niche.
 
My groups doing fine as well. Sometimes i get up to 400 comments on single post and i only have 41,000 members
 
FB Groups are totally dead. I have a couple of big groups (~15000 members) but there are hardly 3-4 posts/day.

Try this to get yours going again.

When you have new members send out a welcome to them encouraging them to share and, of course, include some kind of special offer to them as new members that puts money in your pocket.
 
My Facebook groups doing well :), perhaps worth doing some post which specifically asks everyone to be engaged - to see some more activity?

I don't know. But if I have to guess: use alternative accounts that are not in groups and not related to anything with your group.
