FB apps slowly dieing ! ?

I second that question.

The only was I reckon you would have an idea not be sure that an IP is banned is when multiple domains hosted on the same IP get banned. If anyone knows any other way post please.

I personally think there is no other way to know when the IP is banned, so when more domains get banned I just switch to new one.

i really dont know what makes your app stay longer
i guess im just getting lucky
i ran an app yesterday got about 800 users last time i checked it
woke up at 4am it was gone.. so i made another one and thats the one that is still going :
Total Users: 1510
Total Pages: 155

i hope it stays for a couple of days :\
its been running for about 11 hours already and i already made a good 110 bucks at least but i want more ~_~!

try making posts with your app and see how long it lasts

So far its still going lets hope it doesnt get killed overnight

Total Users: 2138
Total Pages: 240

nice one you must have a really good niche ;D
mine is still going strong ^_^

Facebook just killed an app I had that posted to pages walls some 2,500 times as those that installed the app. Lasted about 18 hours. They usually got deleted in a few hours. I think I may of messed it up. I was running a cron job every 15 minutes, which did small batches. I then switched to what I thought was 8 minute batches, but it was 8 after the hour, so it did a batch post of some 300 walls and some 60 errors. I have noticed if the app runs properly, it lasts longer, and 60 errors in the matter of a minute, I think throws up a red flag, but i am just guessing. It was running good till I changed my cron job, could be a coincident. I am surprised it lasted 18 hours. It was a clean wall posts, nothing bad, but I checked some of the posts and they were to small pages, one had around 450 likes, a photography page, and I am sure the people that saw it were not happy the lady posted that on that page.

Man I wish my apps would live that long still. Now I can't even get to 100 users and I'm trying everything!

Ahaha the question should be opposite, "Is Facebook Growing fast?" :)

Facebook will last AT LEAST 10 more years, I personally visit it a lot (For my service + personally).

I MUST admit, I have been using Facebook for around 4 years now, and way back then, Facebook was the best, very simple, no complicated stuff, chat was working perfectly, now they are trying to make it VERY FANCY, weird chat which 50% of the messages are not sent and 49% are actually sent but being delayed, and 1% are successful.

It's too fancy now, the old way was the best, I wish there was an option "Change back to old style" :)

Here's a little hint. Use some ingenuity and your app will never go down

Yes, build an app, never use it, they wont delete it, but if you want to make money, FB will find it and delete it.

I use a never before used niche everytime and they still get deleted. It's not just based on being unique. Lots of it is random too.

How many batches per hour is okay?

Say I post about 200 per batch only to USER and PAGES.

I'm just starting out using apps and I setup an app and had it deleted in 1 day. But the funny thing is that I was only testing with accounts that I own so I know it was not reported. The domain was not banned but the app was removed and deleted so this is all facebook.

How can you setup and test an app if they are going to delete it immediately. I'm new at this so it takes me longer to set things up.

I am trying some different things. 8 month old app, making sure the errors are down. I am sure high errors when batching is a huge red flag. 197 successful posts, 2 errors, that is a great rate. The 2 were for not visible friends. Once it gets going I will cron every 5 minutes to keep huge batches down.

So far so good, I bet that kills it.

What about doing a spinner description and/or message? I just think that if you have different texts in your posts it would beat a mass post watch. I was thinking of time stamping, which can be done, but different text may be better.
