FB ads

With rising FB Ads costs, I focus on refining targeting, testing diverse creatives (especially short‑form/UGC), leveraging Advantage+ and CAPI for better tracking, and allocating budget flexibly across ad sets and channels to maintain a stable CAC.

High costs are a common trend. I usually split my budget across multiple adsets, refresh creatives faster, and test Reels more than feeds because CPM is a bit cheaper. In addition, scale your budget slowly (20–30%/day) instead of increasing it too much to avoid being squeezed.

Lately, running Facebook ads seems to be more expensive, probably due to increased competition and algorithm changes. Now, if you want to be effective, you should take advantage of your old customer base, test many new ad models, and use campaigns like Advantage+ to let Facebook optimize itself. Remember to monitor metrics like CPM, CTR, and ROAS to know when to make appropriate adjustments.

Launch multiple campaigns to see which one performs best, then increase the budget for that campaign and turn off the others.

With rising advertising costs a common occurrence these days, optimizing your entire campaign is more important than ever. You can start by carefully analyzing your data to eliminate audience groups or placements that aren’t converting, and try adjusting your budget to more effective times or days of the week. Your ad copy should also be fresh: images, headlines, and messages should be continually A/B tested to find the version that gets the best click-through rate. Additionally, keeping a close eye on metrics like CTR, CPA, and ROAS will help you react quickly to any fluctuations, thereby maintaining overall effectiveness even as your average cost increases.

Hi all, I've been running FB ads lately and costs seem higher than before. How are you guys managing your campaigns these days?
Split multiple ads in one campaign, test
Changing content, old content can also make advertising costs expensive

instead of focusing on one campaign, i think it's better to divide budget for multiple campaigns with lower budget and always refresh content and creative, 1 ad shows many times will be boring

Please focus on a detailed ads while running one. Meaning focus on specific location, age, gender and all, don't make it generic

Yep, CPMs are up across most verticals. I’ve been keeping budgets tighter, refreshing creatives faster, and leaning on Reels/Stories since placements there are still a bit cheaper. Scaling slowly (20–30% bumps) instead of big jumps helps keep things stable

my campaign is still running fine but the cost is usually increasing per result so i am limiting my spending at this time

Yes i am seeing higher costs now too. But what is more important to me is simplifying the structure, focusing more on broad targeting and testing creative more often.

Recently, product promotion has become more difficult due to the change in consumer buying behavior leading to higher costs. The best way now is to combine good content creation and cleverly integrate your product promotion. This will be more effective when you launch your campaign. Prioritize broad targeting too.

You can edit the campaign according to Meta's suggestions
Also try increasing the budget slightly by about 10% to get a more competitive bid price but not too much over cost

I think it depends on GEO. I work with tier-3, and despite Black Friday, the metrics remain more or less the same.

Many advertisers are seeing higher CPMs, so the focus now is on strong creatives—mainly UGC-style videos that refresh every 7–14 days.
Most people run broad targeting with Advantage+ and let the algorithm optimize instead of heavy manual setups.
They also rely heavily on back-end systems (email/SMS, retargeting, LTV boosts) to offset rising acquisition costs.
Testing multiple hooks, angles, and formats weekly is the main way to keep performance stable.

To get good results at low cost in a competitive environment, keep your campaigns running daily and refresh your creative regularly. Focus on tight targeting, constantly rotate creative, prioritize short videos/Reels, test multiple small Ad Sets, and leverage remarketing to optimize spend.
