I use a lot of "blank" and grey. So blue and grey....purple and grey....teal and grey. I like using grey as an accent color instead of the really stark black.

Sometimes I will vary the grey to be a silver shade, too, which adds an entirely new dimension.

I don't use any colors except for white. Visitors do have to press CTRL + A to be able to read the text on my website or do it manually with the mouse, but I do get an awesome CTR for my ads as those are the only colorful (visible) things on my website.

It really depends on what you intend to do with the site, right? Some colors, like a white and sky blue indicate transparency, a deeper blue engenders trust, while deep orange and reds indicate strength. Green indicates growth and vitality.

It really depends on the client. But I do prefer a white background with skyblue dominating as the main colors with gray accents.
