If you're honestly not a copywriter then you're just a naturally good sales-writer.
'FatSteve' is also a fantastic sales-name whether it's true or not too. It rolls of the tongue and it's a very friendly name. From your introduction I would picture a fat jolly southern dude smiling over a bbq on a sunny day, lol.

But that was the point of this post - to make the whole deal less boring than "hey people, I'm *enter name here* from *enter place here* " and kind of put a slight emphasis on my business - I do know my "kitchen"!

I'm not a copywriter but at least now I know where that came from. I will admit that I've spent about half an hour trying to come up with something interesting for my introduction post - not an easy task for a non native En.
As of my motivation I will just say this - you cannot talk about SEO with your wife...
And I'm pleased you guys noticed me!
