Fastest WP Theme

What features of the template are important to you? Just speed? Want a simple blog section?

Go with generate press,
If you built website with elementor you shold go with Hello or Astra.

Theme really comes down to what your doing with it and setup. You still need some kind of work and good hosting.

Hah, I feel ya. Make sure to check their vids on YT for basic introduction and in few hours you'll feel like it's Elementor or any other visual builder.

This block editor available on new wp post interface only? I'm still using classic editor

I suggest generate press. The theme size is less than 30 kB, which is the smallest WordPress theme you'll find. This makes it incredibly fast to load and one of the fastest WordPress themes out there.

Their support will answer in 20 mins even if the question is not related to the theme, but to other issues - like plugins (that they didn't made), they'll make custom CSS for you, and explain everything to you like you never ever seen WP. We're using it on over 400 sites for kinda "complicated" things, and over 300 for basic (yep, over 700 sites in total).

"Complicated" = required custom work, "basic" - imported from site library and customized.
One of those "complicated" gets over 7 mil visits/months (sorry for bragging, I'm just proud), but we do have a custom server/hosting and dedicated team that manages it.

I am using the free version of generatepress and I am having some issues with it

For example video embeds.

When I try to spice up a post by adding a YouTube video it appears while I am editing but when I go to preview or live there is nothing but white space. Very frustrating.

I dont know coding so a theme that behaves like it is supposed to is important to me.
A previous theme I was using did not have this issue.

Ad actually I was considering dumping GeneratePress which is how I found this thread. I put "fastest wp theme" in the search bar and found this thread first.

Again, I am not comfortable messing around with code because as can just as easily ruin the entire site as fix a specific problem.
