my fast webhosting cost me $14,99 monthly, your fast 2cpu+2gb ram vultr will cost you $20 /monthly and you must doing all things yourself .
I not need spend my time and energy to manage or fix problems on a vps server, so have a good fast webhositng with support is for me the better decision.
I want solutions who make my life easier not harder and I have an dedicated ip (well will see it if that is a seo benefit..) .

Speak for an vps use google was for me (as a test phase) better then any of vultr or DO, or Hetzner , Azure their ssh console not worked for me many commands denied. I must doing an ssh console setup to get this to work I was not able, but with google cloud, google is doing this setup automatically when you create a instance, then when you open their ssh console all what you must do is type in your commands voila! No technical issues with commands = denied, password denied, ssh keys denied whatsoever of this crap today.
But google cloud instance not has DDOS protection -a big downside.
