Good afternoon! How to optimize Elementor so that the site loads faster?

From personal experience, Elementor is just slow. You can try to optimize it but it's a tough task.

Same. Elementor is slow, you can optimize it but it's a tough task.
If you still have the choice, switch to other builders and stay away from elementor before it's too late.
If not, you have no other way but to optimize it using perfmatters/autoptimize to remove bloated assets and caching plugins to get a good score in PSI.

just install the speed cache and optimize the wp-rocket plugin

Wp rocket- cache on, optimise css(reduce css on), all css and js option off, lazy load

Cloudflare- Rocket loader on

You can look at all the resources being loaded by your site, and then look into removing the ones that you don’t need. Elementor just loads a lot of unnecessary crap. It’s really more hassle than it’s worth when other tools like Oxygen don’t have such a problem with bloat.

Elementor is slow only. Premium CDN may improve your speed.

You can't.
This is just NOT true.

Sure it´s annoying and many times difficult but saying you can´t optimize a site build/customized with Elementor (or any page builder) is just not accurate.

There are a lot of things you can do to improve a website´s performance that has been built/customized with Elementor (or any page builder).

For example, you can try the following...
  • Implement responsive images - Leveraging the power of Elementor responsive mode, you can set different images optimized for desktop, tablets, and mobile instead of having just one image (mostly optimized for desktop devices) loading for mobile devices as well.
  • Disable eicons (Elementor native icon set) and set up your own custom icon set
  • Disable Google Fonts and download and host the fonts locally
  • Disable Font Awesome
  • Optimize CSS delivery - For this my go-to plugins of choice are either Perfmatters (Thanks to @RoiBox ) or WP Shifty
    • If you´re not sure what you´re doing, I highly recommend you try WPShifty as it allows you to see a preview of the impact of the changes and see if it breaks anything in the frontend before saving/rolling those changes to the live site - This feature is currently under development on Perfmatters.
  • Activate Elementor Experiments
  • Build your header and footer OUTSIDE Elementor
  • Add Font-Display: Swap - Head to Elementor > Settings > Google Fonts Load, then choose the “Swap” method.
  • Design-wise, keep the number of used widgets and columns to a minimum
  • Don´t go overboard with Elementor addons
    • And if you are going to use Elementor addons, make sure to disable any modules you´re not going to be using
  • Make sure to use the Hello theme or another lightweight theme alongside Elementor
    • GeneratePress, Astra, and OceanWP would be my top choice
  • Keep the mobile version of your site as light as possible.
If you still want to use Perfmatters, I also recommend you to check this 2h interview with Brian, the guy behind Perfmatters as he will walk you through every single feature and option on the plugin...

Use a cache plugin
This only helps with recurrent visitors.

Beside this, you can also check the following...
  • Enable HTTP/3 protocol
  • PHP 8.0
  • 512MB of memory (256MB at the very minimum)
  • High-performing DNS - Cloudflare´s are good and free!
  • Activate Redis Or Memcached
  • TLS 1.3
  • Enabled Bot Fight Mode
