Fanboys battle (Apple vs Microsoft)

Imagine saying Mac has trash hardware when built PC's have driver issues and need to be fixed all the time.
That depends, some manufacturers are making solid Win-based laptops with good driver support. And to be honest, I think Win10 is moving in a good direction, integrating Linux and admitting they should have gone open-source with their OS hints of good things to come. My laptop (Lenovo C940 15") has worked flawlessly since I got it, and the screen & speakers are amazing, on par with the Macbook 16. The fact that MacOS drivers are signed and more secure, the screen, speakers, MacOS and the touch pad was the reasons I considered buying a Macbook. But the gap between a quality Windows Laptop and the Macbooks is getting pretty narrow. But by all means, if you are willing to drop the cash needed for a nicely specced Macbook Pro 16, you will probably be very satisfied. It was simply to expensive for me..

Glad coz you mentioned WSL. 99% of the windows 10 users do not know about it, and they are missing it. ;)

Loved this. I've owned macs, built a hackintosh, daily use linux and I agree lmao.

I obviously don't think everybody should use linux. Best of luck to the Apple fans. IMO they just make everything more complicated and make you pay luxury tax.

iCloud, Airdrop?
Dropbox, gcloud, microsoft onedrive? :p
Ps.. for local, there are apps available for wifi connection. There's no issue atall when it comes to syncing.

Macbook Pro is a far better experience on a day-to-day basis than Windows laptops.

They're priced at a higher cost, but they function well for years, and if you factor the total cost spread out over the time you use it the additional amount each day that you pay for a Macbook Pro is tiny.. the cost of a 16" 2020 Macbook Pro from the US Apple store is a grand total of $1.02 per day spread over 8 years.

I'm happy to use $7 per week on something I use 14 hours a day in order to get the best quality I can. If Macbooks with the same specs were priced at the same price as a Windows version then everyone on this thread would buy the Mac, unless they've never used one and wouldn't want to transition over to re-learning a new OS.

If I was a competitive cyclist I would want the best bike I could get, after all it's the source of my income essentially. Same goes for buying Macbook. (I own windows laptops and have built linux desktops for deep learning before and have nothing against them, just think that Macbook's are objectively superior).

The debate will never end. That's why we are called fanbois. Nice trap OP!

I use both. I'd probably go with Apple laptop even though I've grown up on Windows. Have a look on Razer laptops or the new Huawei's. Solid lookalikes of macbooks working on Windows.

I prefer windows for pc, old ipad as tablet, and xiaomi for phone

Apple products really overpriced the only win for them is quality hardware but computing power it's not worth it get a windows one

I think you should do research before talking nonsense.
i did trust me, i used more OS's than you probably know. macosx is a consumer OS, just look around its all linux, solaris, bsd and windows for serious work.

Let's get readyyyy to rumbleeeee!

Refreshing the battle. I am going to buy something today.

By the way, I love to read apple vs windows laptops opinions lol.

I maxed out an apple pro just for shits and giggles and it cost $54,547 lol how do you justify that? I‘ll stick with my $1600 XPS that can do just about the same thing but I’m tech specialist

A threadripper 3990x build will crush it for less than 1/2 the price
