I see so many fan pages or groups that have 100s of thousands of fans and members for groups and pages relating to Haiti. Saying they will "empty out their bank account if they reach 1,000,000 fans," I was just wandering if most of these groups are fake? right? Well and do you guys believe this is right? Would you do this to make money?

I totally agree with you, its pathetic that the only way people can get fans is through the exploitation of a disaster.

No . . . Definitely not. There were a couple of threads on the forum right after the Haiti disaster and the general consensus is, "We are blackhatters, but No . . . we won't stoop so low as to monetize such a terrible and tragic disaster."

It's important to draw the line somewhere, and anyone who tries to make bank off from the Haiti disaster is a complete asshat.

Still outrageous, i could understand if you kept $5 back to pay for a domain if you tied a website to it to try and help raise money, but even then cant that $5 be your donation.

Keeping money from the exploitation of disasters like this or illnesses like cancer is some sick sh*t. people who do this or admit to doing this should be on the shit list because they clearly have no morals and dont care who they screw over.
