Fameswap Escrow Scam

Hello everybody,

I just want to warn everybody to not use the fameswap.com escrow service, those guys are scammers.

I just wanted to sell an account for around 3K$ there and got it almost scammed.

I'm not sure if the buyer was also involved in this but haven't heard from him since.

This is how they did it:

Today I received a message from them that the escrow has been funded by the buyer and that I should submit my login details for approval.

Some hours later I noticed that I was logged out from my account so I checked what was going on. The username wasn't found anymore so I checked the E-Mail account that I also submitted to them along with the account. There was an E-Mail from "Instagram" that said your account was banned.

Fortunately, I kept the OG E-Mail so I clicked the revert E-Mail address change link and noticed that my username was just changed. So I changed the password and secured my account through 2-factor authentication. Fortunately, they didn't do this, otherwise I would have had to go through my account was hacked process with the OG email, which would have taken a lot longer.

Afterwards I inspected the other email account a bit more and went through the logs and noticed that one email was deleted, obviously the "your email has been changed"-Email from Instagram, then I looked at the email which said that my account was banned and noticed that it was sent from [email protected]

So at least those guys tried to be a bit creative and wanted to make it look like that my account was banned.

So please stay away from those scammers

Damn bastards thank you for informing us , i was just confusing to use it or not to sell one of my big accounts , it seems not trusted website since they don't have even a contact page ...
 
this is probably the 10th thread I am reading about how fameswap is scamming people.

It seems like their own escrow service is the worst..

We have not had a SL on them that I recall and I spend a minute in that subforum on a regular basis.

Please share screenshots of your escrow transaction. There have been a lot of reports however I don't believe anyone has actually provided evidence that FameSwap admins/staff is involved in the scam.

FYI, FameSwap appear to be the guys behind ShoutCart: https://shoutcart.com/

Does Fameswap, they allow us to ask other people contact information, email for example?
I just request one customer email.
Hope they won't ban me :D

I appreciate the warning. I'm well aware of those fuckers. I'm interested in screenshots for the purpose of investigation into the admins.

This is a email scam .

please cheek the heading of the e-mail sender , Your notice the last @somethink.com dont add uP / LOOKS FISHY.......

be warned IF you press them links in a scam email yoUr get account info changed and all sorts be warned .

you might even be downloading keystroke SOFTWHERE to hack you .

ALWAYS CHEEK THE HEADER OF ALL EMAILS IF IT LOOKS FISHY DELETE OR IGONORE IT , OR REPORT AS SCAM MAIL.
 
That’s awful. Fameswap probably the leaders in this too which makes it even worse.
 
Last week on another forum , I almost been scammed by an escrow service ( not this one).
They are well organized, even smart.

If it's just scammers, and not admins at the escrow service; how are the scammers getting the Instagram account owner's email?

That's the scary part. Either way you look at it, something fishy may be happening with Fameswap or the Admins at Fameswap. Either Fameswap is already hacked by scammers and they have free access to IG account owner's email when in escrow. Or, Fameswap Admins are releasing IG account owner's emails to hackers.

I don't really see any other way around it. Only other explanation is that IG account owners are liars, and nothing is happening.
 
No, the admins are scammers. I didn't do anything via email, everything was through their website

He is Talking About Fameswap Escro service which is only provided by the admins , so please read carefully his thread, so now with this several reports we can just use fameswap by messages and not using their escrow service
