Fake promises.

The onus is on the seller to be specific in what they offer.

If the buyer is OK with that, then move forward, if not thank them for their time.

While lying may seem like an easy shortcut, or even a desperate attempt to win a client, it’s a path riddled with far more complications than you expect… and far more than you can manage. Always tell them what you are offering, and try to over-deliver.

Honestly, some clients do seem to love hearing what they want, even if it's not realistic. But I've found being straight up from the start saves way more headaches later

Inform the clients there are scammers around overpromising and underdelivering. Even if they don't buy from you, they will respect you when they get scammed.

This is a good one.
Potential clients like to give fake promises like, I will buy for $1000 but later.
Yeah, I also missed some chances to become rich :P
Under promise and over deliver.

Over promises makes the sale easier but you'll end up with lower LTV and with bad reputation that's hard to shake off.
I noticed it works and they become loyal and long term clients.
