Hi,
I saw a method on here about posting an ipad on CL, and responding to replies with things such as "Hi, Unfortunately the iPad has been sold but I got mine here [affiliate link etcetc]. I can't find the thread at all anymore so am posting here.
I thought I would try this and posted an ad for an iPad 2 for a low but realistic price. I stated that I won it in a competition and don't want it. I have had 150+ replies in about 4 hours. I have replied with each one saying that unfortunately it has already been sold, but they can try enter the same competition I did and give them a link to my website. My website has an apple like wordpress theme, with an iPad2 review and an article on how to get an iPad for free. I stuck a leadbolt content locker on it, thinking I would get a few conversions. Out of the 150+ people I have replied to, I have had 0 conversions from leadbolt, and only a handful of clicks. Is this because leadbolt surveys suck and take too long?
I tried this method purely to test it, and already had hosting an a relevant d.o.t.c.o.m. domain name, but would appreciate any advice.
Thanks in advance,
Ewaffles
