Facebookdude's Complete Guide To Banking With Facebook PPC!

Those are some awesome tips that you have shared dude !!

I especially liked the one - "you shouldn't do ads like 'Get A Free iPad' because you need to get the users involved since that is what they're doing on Facebook"

another good guide by this never sleep & always banking dude

There really ought to be a BONER button for great threads like these. I am going to change my whole approach to fb ads now.

So I've got the money to invest, and what the hell I may give this a shot.

So to make sure I've got this correct:
You search for a niche offer like you said "Which NFL player is better"
Then target the Ad towards that niche
Offer $0.10 or something for CPC and CPC only

You also suggested talking about Charlie Sheen off Two and a Half Men or whatever his name is, and how would you convert this?
So great, you've got some Charlie Sheen enthusiasts to your website, how are you monetizing them?

Also, what are your experiences with content blockers? Perhaps target a current movie release in the ad, then get a fake streaming page with some $1+ payouts offers on a content blocker?

Interested in your response. Sorry, I'm not experianced with FaceBook at all, just the social part of it.

Perhaps I'll hit you up on MSN tomorrow.

Depends. Some days I used to spend $1k

And did you lose a lot of that or did you nail it on the head? I've herd lots of reports from people losing most their money from it and banking huge, so very curious on your response.

Hope you don't mind that nosy question of mine, but I'm so curious. :)

t's simple really, once they have done what you wanted like submit their opinion or something then just direct them to your offer. Easy, you would think it wouldn't convert but it does :)

My question is, does Facebook typically approve your ads going to a voting/poll landing page? Or are you redirecting to the voting/lander after approval?

Ok on that campaign and pretty much all of my campaigns I get $0.05 cpc. I know this is hard for you to believe but it's true I can even send screenshots lol. Even my suggested bids are less than $0.10. So there is no need for me to do CPM. And my estimated reach is above 8 million. That can not work with CPM obviously. This means I can run my campaign for at least a year and spend the same as you would on CPM. But if I was going to optimize my campaign for CPM I would only get a month out of it.

I've tried thousands of targeting options for millions of people, and FB has never suggested a bid as low as $0.10 CPC. Unless you've found a glitch somewhere, or you've found a jackpot targeting option that suggests that low CPC bid, I don't blame you for not sharing that with us. Because we will surely get in there and saturate that niche. Keep up the good work :)

It is possible once you active a high CTR. I've managed to hit .05 CPC on one of my campaigns HOWEVER keeping that CTR high is tough. Once your CTR goes below .1, forget about a low CPC.

I THINK the trick is to have two high CTR ads and cycle them off and on. I wasn't able to test this theory myself since I haven't been able to generate two high CTR ads in the same campaign yet... PLUS Facebook is so inconsistent with their approvals that they sometimes will not approve the same ad twice... I've copied approved ads and only reworked the titles and they get disapproved for the picture?! Gotta love it!

Are you saying that FB starts you out at a high CPC, and when you start your campaign and begin getting high CTRs, then they will reward you with a low CPC?

I've only been doing Facebook for 1 month... submitted about 80 ads so far for various offers... so I'm still a noob... BUT in my experience so far, I've NEVER been able to start an ad off at .10 bid and get impressions. It just doesn't happen unless I'm not waiting long enough. I usually wait 1hr before I start mess'n with my bids.

I achieved .05 CPC AFTER I got over .1 CTR and backed my bid down. In MY short experience, Facebook will not give me impressions until I hit .30 - .40 CPC when targeting USA only. At .40 CPC Facebook will give me up to 200-500 impressions. During that time, I must get clicks or else Facebook will NOT give me any more impressions without me upping my bid. SO if the ad takes off, hits over .1 CTR, then I start backing down my bid OTHERWISE Facebook just keeps charging me .10 below my set bid (bid set at .30, at .1 CTR they usually charge .20 CPC). When backing my bid down, I eventually hit .10 bid at which point I start getting .05 CPC.

Facebookdude says he's able to start off at a low bid but the last 3 campaigns I've ran, I wasn't able to get a single impression at .10 bid right out of the gate.

I target a single country at a time... He might target many countries on 1 ad and narrow by interest... I haven't tried that because some of my offers are country specific... That might make a diff since I've noticed that with Canada I can get impressions at .30 bid but USA starts at .40 bid...

Anyways... in my short experience so far, that's what I've learned... Basically be prepared to spend at least $15 to TEST the CTR and getting your bids handled then more cash waiting to see if your offer converts... it's expensive and I've yet to landed the golden goose everyone is talking about....

So I suppose that is the trick then? Start low, then bump up the bid a few cents every few hours or so. You start to get impressions at around 40 cents. Then if CTR is high, FB will lower your CPC to below 40 cents. Continue to bump down till it reaches the lowest CPC. Can anyone verify this method?

Hello,
Facebookdude, i like your article and also the suggestions of Mr Ex. You guys just opened my eyes on fb Ads. But one thing i don't really understand is the domain approval by fb. Do you mean that one floats a whitehat page and monitor fb approve the Ads, then change or re-direct the domain to your offer?

Elsei want to know in noob terms how todo this?

You buy a domain and redirect it to a whitehat opinion site or whatever your ad is about. Then after Facebook approves it take redirect off and have your normal lander in place of the redirect code.

Unless I'm missing something, I'm assuming you can also change the code/html on the domain you brought once the ads have been approved?
