Meta is tightening its advertising policies more and more.
Standard articles are still being scanned, AI approves sometimes right and sometimes wrong
According to everyone, does tightening policies help improve content quality?
Or does it just make people running ads have to "guess Meta's intentions"?
What is your perspective, let's see if Meta is going in the right direction

Strict policies are good, but right now Meta is “too mechanical”. Advertisers have to guess what AI understands, afraid of being flagged unfairly. Instead of just tightening, Meta should be more transparent about its criteria and clear guidelines to make it easier for people to comply.

Yes sir , Meta is crazy , maybe need to loosen up for users

That’s a really good and timely question and one a lot of advertisers are frustrated with right now.

Honestly, it’s a bit of both. Stricter policies do cut down on spam and low-quality ads, but Meta’s system often feels inconsistent.

Sometimes good ads get flagged for no reason. It’s improving overall quality, but also making life harder for legit advertisers who just want clear rules.

meta is tightening its policies to filter out low-quality ads, but inconsistent AI evaluation often hurts legitimate advertisers. i think meta should improve its AI training and provide clearer feedback to reduce the number of rejected ads.

They actually do both of these things very well, but more importantly, they need to improve their AI to help clean advertisers avoid being scanned by them erroneously and unreasonably.

Meta stricter ad policies aim to improve content quality, but in practice, they often create confusion for advertisers who must guess what will be approved. It’s a balance between safety and creativity but Meta may be overcorrecting.

Meta needs updates that listen to users, Facebook is still fertile land

Meta’s tightening policy is necessary to improve content quality, but the current AI implementation is not sophisticated enough. Good advertisers in this time not only need to be creative, but also need to understand Meta’s evaluation mechanism to do it right and still be effective.

Tightening Meta’s ad policies can improve content quality and protect users from misleading ads.
But for advertisers, it often means navigating unclear thresholds and speculating about what will pass the system, which increases friction.

Yes sir, too many campaigns for Meta to review sometimes will not be perfect

Yes this year meta is tightening up on advertising using AI review, but completely legitimate advertisers are also having problems due to FB's AI not being comprehensive, it's a shame our feedback is ineffective, only getting generic answers.

AI helps Facebook ad review faster and more efficiently, but also causes problems of bias, lack of transparency and unfairness. This always makes advertisers have a headache in every situation.

Sometimes Meta can be frustrating for the most impatient users, but it would be nice if Meta was easier.

Honestly, stricter policies help reduce low-quality content, but they also make it harder for legitimate advertisers. Meta should find a better balance between AI moderation and smart manual review.

Meta’s stricter policies aim to enhance content quality, but inconsistent AI moderation often harms genuine advertisers. Transparency and clearer guidelines are crucial; otherwise, creativity and trust in the platform will decline.

Meta has been developing a lot, and in the development process, it is inevitable that there will be mistakes and inconvenience to users, but I believe that in the future this will be a healthy playground.

Meta’s goal is to protect users, but the way it’s implemented leaves advertisers feeling constantly challenged. Ultimately, the real creatives spend time “guessing the rules,” instead of focusing on quality content.
Meta is still making better versions, for advertisers
