Facebook Reach Down Again !

My reach is still rather large, but my post frequency is low and my engagement is super high. Post engagement is the ONLY factor when it comes to reach. If you watch your reach on a per post basis you will notice that the more engagement a post gets the more your reach extends. As far as links go, clicks hold the most weight when it comes to factoring in reach for a post. We have seen SUPER clickbait get insane reach and great articles get the worst reach possible simply because the engagement on what we thought was a great article wasn't high enough.

My last post reached 1700 people, while my page got 1200 likes.
Yeah, it's just that funky EdgeRank algorithm at work. The more the activity on a post, the bigger the reach. Makes sense for Facebook this, but sadly not for users and page owners. Maybe things will improve slightly and get back to their previous levels next year, after the Holiday season is behind us.
Can't get much worse than this, can it? Particularly for large pages!

Man we're talking about link posts ! not actual image or video posts. If you got 1700 reach on your post then it means you posted something that was shared by your fans.
