Facebook Reach Down Again !

It's Christmas and facebook decreased the reach again ! WTF I mean they already decreased it last year to 1% now its less than 1% organic reach :eek:

Has your reach decreased too ? if yes by how many %?

i see no decrease just post a super engaging content that even 100 people see it they will engage the reach will continue once that 100 people has engagement.
 
Anyone saying something else must be running their pages on a different platform. Facebook is totally at it again. I mean, they are making page owners cough our money to promote any post on pages.

I have a 140k page and my post reach is less than 100 people. It sucks
 
Yes, they do seem to have reduced the reach. 25k likes page and damn it, earlier i used to easily get a reach of 100+ with each post, now it has gone down to 20 odd or so.

Can you please check one more time. Reach for link posts are now like less than 0.5% organic reach. Video/Image/status posts are the same but since they get more like and shares their reach will be higher. Overall organic reach is decreased from 1% to bloody 0.5%

Reach is down over here as well. What's amusing is that the reach had gone down around the same time last year as well. This is a tactic used by Facebook to earn more ad revenue during the Holiday season when spending power as well as product marketing is at its peak.
 
Last time I talked with a Facebook agent, he told me that Facebook wants to end with organic traffic, and that all traffic will must be paid through Facebook Ads

yep pretty much this, only way to combat this is to build HQ profiles with 5,000 friends and share your page posts
 
mine went down by so much i gave up on facebook and closed the page, complete waste of my time.
 
this how my reach always went so high post something the user will want. like a twist so
they will engage. :cool:
 
i only update the page to make my site look trustworthy, not hoping for any traffic. plus a website without a facebook page or with a page that has few likes will not make you look good. this the only reason i'm keeping the page alive
 
I have a page with 14,000 fans. I put up a post today -- a link post to an interesting article in my niche. So far the reach is less than 500. It has fewer than 20 likes and just a handful of shares. It actually has a decent number of link clicks, about 60.

The reach is lower than normal. But it's hard to tell whether that's the result of a FB change or not. The more successful posts on this page would generally be getting more likes and shares by now, so it might be that the post was so-so.
 
its just absurd !
i have humor page with 71K sometime i get around 2k and in the past i had 5-15k but now i have sometimes a bloody 60 likes or 200 likes
or scratching the 1K !

and on my artist page have 13K and getting really shitty reach that before i had posts with 600 likes without paying a Dime!
