I would consider using residential proxies from another provider if you have not already, make sure its a realistic IP, as others have mentioned a lot of IPs hosted in datacenters will not be able to access FB.

That sounds like a proxy issue to me, not your browser, the proxy might be down, blocked, or just not working properly, so the site never loads.
