Tryin to access facebook with a proxy and I see a white page that says: "The site can't be reached." Just like when you are offline and trying to open a site.

Is this a problem with proxy or browser? and what could be the reason?

It's due to the proxy. On any other website it's ok? If so, the proxy/IP may be banned from using Facebook. Did you tried to rotate the IP?

It worked on other sites apparently. I could use it for facebook last week too, didn't rotate it but I think it should rotate on its own. I will try thanks.
If so, is it facebook that banned the ip or the ip that banned facebook?
 
Try using clean static residential proxies.

It was Facebook who banned the IP. The IP was abused by you or, if it's shared, by others. Try to rotate it and see if it works. I would also suggest, if you're using an anti detect browser, to create a new profile. If you're using a regular browser, try from another one (eg: You're using Firefox > try to use Brave).
 
Try on a clean IP address, see if the problem persists.

The proxy you used is marked.
 
make sure that proxy what you are using is private, not shared... + better to use residential or mobile proxies, much better quality than datacenter
 
Strage thing is that I usually used free vpn and never encountered this!
 
It's likely due to the proxy, but also check your browser settings if you are using any anti detect browsers.
 
Sounds like your proxy IP got blocked by Facebook. They're pretty aggressive about detecting and blocking known proxy ranges. Could also be DNS issues if you're using the proxy's DNS servers. Test the proxy with other sites first. If it works elsewhere, it's definitely a Facebook block.
 
Ping the proxy first. Is it working?
If yes, check general blacklists. Is the address blackened?
If not, Either it has not been set well or browser is malfunctioning.

You might try mobile proxy, FB rarely block such addresses (make sure to get a real one)
 
It could also be due to the proxy, try changing the proxy. A small tip is to limit logging into 1 Facebook account from many different proxies.

Proxy works on Google but I don't know how to ping a proxy.

If that is the case, FB is more aggressive towards proxies than VPN. I have been working with known vpns and never FB blocked them.

Just a simple ping <proxy creds> command
Or even more simple way - put the proxy on antidetects browser and click "check proxy" kinda button.
Assuming Google works means the proxy will get you a response.

So it is should be online. Check fraudscore.

FB already knows all famous VPN services' IPs. You may access FB but not trick it in any way.
 
You can try to access other sites aside from Facebook to know if the proxy is the issue; if the proxy is the problem, you can request the provider for a replacement.
 
Tried another proxy still same issue with FB. I am using dolphine.
 
If facebook isn’t loading while you’re using a proxy, it’s probably not your browser it’s the proxy itself. facebook is pretty strict about blocking low quality or overused IPs, especially those from datacenter proxies. It could also be a simple misconfiguration issue wrong port, protocol mismatch, or just an inactive proxy. Try switching to a mobile or residential proxy; those tend to work better with facebook. and if you can, test the proxy directly or check its status with a tool like whoer net to see if it’s even functional.
