Facebook Proxy Question

Hey,

I have a question about Facebook and using a proxy (Or VPN). So i logged in using my normal IP and posted a status update or message it would show up with the correct time.

Now if i switch to a different proxy (in a different country) using a new browser (so no cookie issue) and a new Facebook account, and do the same, it still shows the same time zone?? But if i use all sort of websites it will show i'm in a different country/different IP

What gives? How?

facebook shows its server time and not your local time as per your time zone.

What i mean is, Facebook always shows the correct time EVEN when using a proxy in another country? why?
