Hello dear friends.

I’m having issues with Facebook. I have a new ~2 month account which was my main option for advertising my product in random facebook groups (related to e cigarettes). I warmed up my account by daily scrolling, liking, commenting and joining groups and after a week or 2 i started posting in groups. For a week or 2 posts were gaining a lot of attraction, lots of people contacted me and it was all good until my posts started getting PENDING status right after posting even in public groups. I also have been unable to post 2 times for a week each. Did my facebook account get flagged for spam ?
i cannot post in the same groups I did, because after posting it indtantly goes into PENDING status, sometimes the post stays for 10 minutes and when someone interacts, it then gets sent to PENDING.

What is the main issue here and how can I fix it?

My posts included a single photo of my product, a short description of my product along with the price. I tried changing the whole text, tried different photos, no result.

I found some russian guy who sells farmed accounts with fan pages and allegedelly “good trust factor”, is it worth buying one? Cba to manually warm up accounts again

And also, my friend is sucessfully posting same products in random groups with very high interaction rate from people. He sometimes cant post for “spamming”, but usually after a few days or a week he is able to massively spam in 20-30+ groups in a day. He is doing that on an main account of his which is likely 4-5 years old

Yeah that's some kind of soft-flag if I ever saw one. Not necessarily a full-on ban but some kind of limbo that usually means your account trust tanked somewhat so your group posts could be auto placed for review due to this. Could have been caused by posting patterns, volume, niche (since that's considerably sensitive in your case), or likely a combination of those.
Far as I know, warming up harder won't really help much? You just need to curb the volume and slow it down a notch, mix activities maybe. Recovery isn't guaranteed but it might help some. Then again, it could be faster to just start fresh on a lighter volume and with more variation.

I think this just speaks to it not being a consistency issue, more like a trust-level of sorts, idk.

That’s what I thought aswell. Must be some sort of shadow ban. I have never been asked for selfie nor ID verifications on this particular account from facebook which is very weird. On my fresh accounts less than 1 week old I would be asked for Selfie after about 5-6 posts.

I’m thinking about leaving this account on its own for a month or so, hopefully the trust factor returns to normal :D

Thanks for your reply.

I still hope someone who is more experienced with this can provide me a-z details on how to AVOID this on another account if I ever make one.

You could try working with agencies that rent out accounts; they can provide account support and handle everything for you

neither has he. That guy is just pushing ad accounts and did not read your post.

Just buy old aged accounts. they are pretty cheap.
Are old accounts enough to bypass all this spam-filtering sh..? What about proxies, changing profile pictures, names, details right after purchasing an account? From my common sense thinking, logging into an account which is old and inactive from another country would raise Meta’s AI suspicion or not?

Buying farmed accounts is risky many are already shadow-flagged and can die faster than a fresh one. Safer fixes are slowing way down, removing prices and sales language, posting value or discussion content first, rotating groups, and letting admins manually approve you again.

Also those pending posts that you mentioned on groups, well it could be you reached of pending posts from that group

Your account is trust limited. New accounts posting products in many groups especially restricted items get flagged fast. That’s why posts go to Pending. Changing text won’t help. Buying farmed accounts is risky. Only time, lower activity, or using older clean accounts can fix it.

It's clear that this is a common occurrence, limiting posts rather than completely banning them. When a post immediately changes to "Pending," it's usually due to repetitive commercial activity within groups or group moderation, not necessarily account spam. Changing the text or image isn't always effective because this restriction is behavior-based. The best approach is to reduce posting frequency, diversify activities, and give the account some rest time.

I've seen this happen with new accounts posting sales content in various groups, and Facebook usually restricts visibility instead of banning them completely. However, continuing to post similar content can prolong the restriction period. You should interact lightly for a while to help keep your account cleaner.

Fresh profiles posting products in groups trigger spam fast. Better use aged accounts or pages and post slower.

Another approach is to focus on genuine engagement first comment, react and share in groups without posting products.
Once your account looks natural start adding product posts gradually to avoid automatic filters.

Much luck. The selfie verification on new accs is pretty telling there.

On that note, there might be some guides already on the site, if rather basic, you can look around or maybe I'll check back in if I find one.

Dear friend, new advertising accounts often experience unusual activity that disrupts campaigns. Please consider finding alternative advertising contractors.

Your account is likely soft-flagged for commercial spam, especially selling restricted products. Pending posts come from trust + policy signals. Buying farmed accounts is risky and short-lived.

One way to handle this is by creating content that adds value to the groups like tips or discussions related to your niche before including any product links. This can help your posts appear more organic and reduce delays.

Your account may have been "blacklisted" due to policy violations or restricted business practices, resulting in frequent flags for unusual activity. Abusing "farmed" accounts is only a temporary solution as they are easily flagged and have low durability. To maintain a stable campaign, instead of operating it yourself at risk, you should consider partnering with professional resource providers or advertising agencies for cleaner and more stable accounts.
