Hello,

I run a few big pages on a Facebook, one with over a million likes. I was recently banned, and given the following message:

“Your Page has been sharing links that we believe are clickbait, such as a headline designed to get someone's attention and lure them into clicking it. Your post will still appear on your Page, but it won't appear in News Feed. You can appeal our decision here.”

It gave me the option to appeal, which I did, and it only gives me this reply:

Thanks for contacting us. We've reviewed your Page and confirmed that it still violates the Facebook Pages terms. As a result, the restriction remains on your page.

I’ve seen this discussed a couple of times on here, but no solution. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and if so - what do you do? The appeals process seems pointless. The pages have had a restriction since last Sunday, and they just added one to another page of mine today. I’ve deleted recent links, but I’m not sure what to do.

Hi my page has just been hit with the same message. Maybe this is a new thing as your post it only half hour old? Does anyone else here have any advice on how to fix this problem?

Have you been able to reach anyone?

What kind of headlines do you post?
An account of mine was recently banned and it's last post to the Page removed (the Page was not deleted, though), then the Page got a News Feed restriction message. It didn't mention clickbait, just "community violation". I assumed it was because it was a man standing next to a woman in a bikini and it got flagged, but maybe my "Coming soon!" title was also considered clickbait, who knows. It was just a photo and didn't even have a link.

After a week the issue went away, but our reach is still nerfed because that account had a lot of friends and thus got a lot of views when the post was shared to it's timeline.

If you already appealed and they said no, it means no.

FB never goes back on their decision after an appeal.

I think Facebook is really strict and once they have rejected your appeal, I don't think there is a way for you to get off that ban. You just have to move forward with your marketing strategy.

What do you mean by your page was banned ? Can you still post pictures and video . Just not post links?

Do you post in English language on your pages? What niche is your pages? Political news, viral content?
Probably you can fix this only if you speak with a human from fb, not with the automatic system.
THank you

Hi, what is the niche of your banned page'?
There are many reasons for which your page can be banned including:
1) Your Page does not follow Facebook Page Guidelines
2) You do not adhere to Facebook contest guidelines
3) Your Page does not follow Facebook Advertising Guidelines

Dont tell anyone your niche

So we don't make the same mistake! it's called "helping your fellow blackhatters!"

well did you have any links that are clickbait? if not its just FB and how stupid they are...you can report bad postings ex" child endangerment" but they dont remove they allow it. Sorry its not doing anything against our TOs...Except its 10000% illegal.

Is this possible? If so, do you know a way of contact?
