Hey guys.

How many hours do you spend on Facebook?

I just deactivated my account, because I'm spending more time on Facebook.

If you've already deactivated Facebook, what impact it made on your life/work/academies.

Thanks

i spend close to 2hrs a week on facebook
100% of the time is actually managing the pages i have on it.
don't care at all about facebook itself.

BHW more interesting than fb any day.

Finally, some sense got into you.

Since my 8 years old account got blocked by FB for spamming and shit I stay on FB like 20 minutes before I sleep.
Basically I hate it.

I'm owner of internet caffe, and i observe and try to analyze individuals who come to surf. Average facebook user is below-average individual, who doesn't care about his time. They have plenty of time to kill. They love scrolling. Digesting every kind of spammy news feed they are served. I approve FB being logged in one of browser tabs just in case somebody sends you a message, but messanger does the same, so its redundant. FB content is terrible, mix of ads, clickbaits and cute kittens. I kinda like cute kittens :)

I spend maybe half an hour a week on FB, i only use it to keep tabs on local car stuff (events, datsuns for sale and parts) i dont scroll my feed it's full of ads and people I dont talk to or care about.

Deactivated (switched it to a page) my fb account 4 years ago, cos had too many friends (4.5k) and i spent hours communicating with people i already know so well... though i had sometime to build up some fb comedy parody pages (500k+) so now i only spend like 30 mins weekly managing those pages.
Advantages: i became more serious in my career path and took the time to learn a lot, including here on BHW

I'm thinking that time is gold. So, I never spent a single minute in FB.

Had an account in 2006 or 2008 not sure used it few months, havent used it since .
I am fine with earning money from it , like the other members here are doing , other than that its for people without any friends or online stalkers .

Whats the youngest person you know who has a fb account ?

It's easier to stop wasting your time on Facebook than quit smoking.

70 seconds per day stalking a girl and other friend who like to play games
