Facebook is about to buy Opera

I use some tricks on opera it's good but I personally use firefox ALL HAIL FIREFOX

I love Opera in my Mobile only not using on PC works best on Mobile device :D
 
i think zuckerberg is literally going crazy, and just think of that amount that will be given to opera as it is a very reputable browser with over 200m users
 
Yes dumb move, like FB is going to make people want to start using Opera.

How can anyone with a brain invest in a company that paid $300 million in cash+ stock for a company that doesn't even have a revenue model? Facebook is probably going to pay at least the same or more for opera software company,which only turns a $14 million profit a year.
 
Opera was beast on mobile.

well... over 50% of facebook users are mobile users...
so buying opera is a very good step!

google rule the Pc world...and facebook gonna win the mobiles...
cell phones are the future of internet marketing!
 
Seems that all of this might just be a hoax to get some misleading information spread but if it's true I really do not want this to happen. I was actually thinking of moving from FF to Opera because it's pretty awesome, and it seems to be slightly faster. I use opera every now and then but mainly stick to FF just because I've been using it for the past few years. Opera is nice, slick and fast, if FB take over, it'll suck.

The article from pocket-lint was deliberately written as half a question - thats what media does when ass cover is required. :-) Otherwise, many respected magazines (such as pcworld) seem to trust that source, as they reprint the story.
 
You can tell when a company's run out of innovation, they open their wallet and go on a spending spree to buy audience and mindshare. It never works.

Damn, I hate this tech consolidation. I like Opera and use it nearly every day. Now that FB has it we can only expect the worst.
 
Well, we are Internet Marketers and we will make money from any new thing that fb does :D

How about looking at the brighter side of things.... ;)
 
With the Penguin fuggin everyone up I would think Zuck would Go after search now..
