No true “insider” needed — most of what you want can be found through Meta Ad Library. You can see competitor creatives, pages running ads, and some targeting clues.


For deeper intel (like spend, performance, full targeting), only agency reps or internal staff would have access — and that info’s locked down.


Best move? Reverse-engineer through ad library + landing page spy tools + pixel tracking. It gets you 80% there without breaking rules.

I’d recommend focusing on tools like Fb Ad Library, which lets you see ads running by any page, or using competitive analysis tools like AdEspresso for better insights
 
Would be gold to have, but pretty rare these days. Most just rely on tools like Ad Library or spy platforms. If anyone’s got deeper access, they’re definitely keeping it lowkey.

That kind of insider access is extremely rare and risky. Even if someone claims to have it, it’s not worth the potential consequences.
If you want to spy on competitors, better to use legal tools like Ad Library, AdSpy, or BigSpy.

And they are good at hiding their tracks , I have worked with such
 
Just a heads-up — no one legit has “insider” access to see full competitor campaign details like targeting, budget, or exact performance. Facebook doesn't allow that kind of internal access legally, and anyone claiming to offer it is either scamming or risking accounts.
That said, you can still gather useful intel using Meta Ad Library, Spy tool or Pixel&funnel analysis

No, no one can see the internal details of your competitors' Facebook campaigns. You can only see public ads through Meta Ad Library or using legitimate analytics tools like BigSpy, Adplexity, SimilarWeb.
 
Extensions can show if a site has Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, etc. (You still won’t see their data.) Good for learning what third-party tracking they use
 
No real insiders like that, anyone claiming access to competitor data is usually bluffing, stick to Ad Library and testing your own angles.
 
OP is just asking if somebody could scam him.

I can say that this is not entirely true since ive seen a living proof of it. hahaha just make sure the one you trust is a legit sources
