Facebook groups vs pages

For building an audience around their niche, would you choose to make a Facebook page or create groups to build and grow your community?

I can see the benefits of each one, but I am curious as to which is easier to grow and maintain.

The key to Facebook is to post frequently and interact with others rather than simply post and go.
 
if you are looking to build a community or manage a club, you need a Facebook Group. it is a space where everyone is on equal footing and can interact with one another.
 
pages are easier to grow rapidly using reels and paid ads, but organic reach requires continuous content creation. groups are easier to maintain over time because members contribute user-generated content, driving higher organic engagement and retention. The best practice is starting with a Page to attract cold traffic, then funneling interested followers into a Group to foster community and long-term loyalty
 
I would say pages are easier to maintain than groups. Go for groups if you have time, energy and support for moderation

groups make more sense when the niche depends on discussion and shared experiences a page can attract attention, but a group gives people a reason to come back

a page would be the best place to start followed by a group when u already have some followers. groups are great community builders although they require more mainttenance than pages.
 
Creating a Facebook group is not easy at all; I think creating a page would be simpler.
 
If the goal is to build a community around a niche, I would start with a Facebook Page and develop a Group later
Page to attract - Group to connect - Website/store to convert
 
i would say start with a facebook page because it’s easier to grow and manage and once you have a decent audience you can create a group to build a more engaged community.
 
Just go with a page first for easier growth and groups are great later when you want more engagement and a stronger community.
