I thought 5000 was the max number of friends you could have, but
i guess this is just a glitch from facebook point of it. ;)

yeah it's a glitch, if you refresh when you get that it'll fluctuate each time, just had this happen to me yesterday and was like huh

Who the hell has 5,000 friends anyway? (I'm talking about real people).

Must be a bitch throwing a party. He'd be like "I can only invite 400 of my closest friends."
 
I've seen this before :) Shame it can't glitch and let you hve 500,000 friends :rolleyes:

If you take a look at pages he is a fan off, they are Mafia Wars - People add Mafia Wars players when they don't know them. Friending is not hard with Mafia Wars ;)
 
I'm pretty certain this happens when friends disable their accounts and then re-enable them.
 
Pretty sure this is a blackhatter's account. Either that or a mafia wars addict.
 
it happens if your at 4,999 friends and have 10 friend requests if you accept them all quickly it will add more than 5,000
